Soap + microfiber towel will fill this need honestly and be just as effective in small spaces. You may even try using the microfiber applicator pads. The foam core will hold lots of soapy water and the size is pretty much exactly what you want.

JHL88 reacted to Team Adam's in USPS now available for shipping (testing)
You've been asking and I'm happy to say we finally have USPS options integrated into site as an economy shipping option. You'll now be able to select USPS First Class and USPS Priority Service for smaller shipments, up to 15lbs.

Right now the integration is being tested, so if you're making a purchase soon please consider selecting one of the USPS options offered and if you can share your experience with us here. We want to make sure you are having the same great experience with our economy shipping options.

FedEx will still be the preferred option for heavier shipments, but our rate study showed that shipments of 15lbs or less would be less expensive for our customers via USPS.

There are a few very good products available there.  Not many, but a few do exist.  Especially one of the tire coatings.

Yeah they're a blast stock. And relatively cheap to practically double that power.
Mine is fully bolted, built internals, built transmission, bigger turbo, E47 and running an aftermarket tune on 26psi.

JHL88 reacted to Team Adam's in Patriot Wax... What's Up With The New Tin Container?
Wouldn't call it an oversight. The diameter is very much in line with many other paste waxes on the market, though people may have become spoiled by the wide mouth design and hex grips. The size is very similar, if not identical to the pots of zymol and swissvax I have.

Ever since the original $250 design was released people have begged us for a lower cost option, the way to make that happen was to go to a basic tin. I personally like the size as it's easy to hold, and the disc applicators will work just fine with it.

We can certainly look into doing a wider mouth tin, but this will very likely increase cost. Of course if you find this size/shape doesn't meet your expectations we'll happily take back the exchange for now and you can jump on a future version of we go to a different container.

Your guys input, as always, is appreciated... But try not to judge it entirely on whether or not you can fit a hex grip in it. Try it with a foam disc and see what you think.

Also maybe if Adam's offers Dr.Colorchip? I know a lot of us would probably order it.  Sometimes you just can't avoid chips and cuts in your paint.

I'd also like to see Adam's offer a premium wash media option like a microfiber wash pad or something along those lines.  Maybe one made of foam that's easy to use and maintain. I use a MF pad from another company and it is fantastic.

Believe our average spend per active customer annually is about $430. Certainly, if we offered more trinkets, that number could go up!

I sincerely appreciate every penny of business we earn. Thank you!!

I just got back from my walk back to the office listening to a detailing pod cast and I was just thinking the same thing.  The Meguiar's ones are great.  3D and a couple other manufactureres offer them.

JHL88 reacted to Team Adam's in Long lasting sealant...?
I think we're all (or at least most of us) in the same area in terms of what we'd want from a coating -

Personally I think something that lasts 4 or 5 years sounds terrible! Thats a unique hell I don't want to exist in where I have no excuse to rub on my car. Something in the 18-24 month range would suit me just fine.

I'm also not all that concerned with gloss levels, ideally I want a coating that leaves the appearance of the vehicle unchanged vs. having nothing on it. I want excuses to use waxes, glazes, detail sprays and other things to bring out the gloss. Putting down a good paste is like therapy so why would I want something that takes away that need?

I want it to be stupid easy to apply - some coatings I've worked with are so temperamental that the process was more aggravation than it was worth. I finished frustrated and annoyed - I never want the joy to be sucked out of detailing.

Am I on the right track?
