  1. Chewy is upgrading, I'm not. At least not any time soon unfortunately. The Vagon is on the wish list and will be for a while unless someone wants to buy my junker G8.
  2. 2012 Cadillac CTS-V wagon in Thunder Gray. Someone can have my G8 as their Christmas gift purchase.
  3. I don't mind honey roasted ones myself. They are a great snack when throwing horseshoes. Oh crap, wrong peanuts. Carry on!
  4. I have used it on my Jeep frame and leaf springs and other bits and pieces and it has worked very well. Even used it on the coilovers on the car and the powder coated sway bars just to preserve them a bit in case it does have to go out onto a salted road. It is also popular in the agricultural industry as well. Many of their pieces of equipment is sprayed down, especially if it's working year round. Works great for odds and ends around the house as well such as door hinges and even sticky door latches and locks.
  5. Just curious but with the Lizard Skin stuff does it say anywhere on the container that it's made in the USA? I'll have all of the body parts off of the vehicle so I figured while it's all apart, can't hurt to apply some thermal and sound deadening products. I'll probably still hear a combination of wind, engine and tire noise of some varying levels
  6. Good stuff. I'll make note of that since I'm going to start a tub off restoration here on one of my vehicles. I was going to look into Lizard Skin's lineup but they don't clearly state that their product is made in the USA. I'll have to inquire about that but the Second Skin products look promising.
  7. Hmm. Need to prep area around car so I can have a toilet to sit on so I don't ruin any clothing. I just did a face melter correction on my car last weekend and I went right for QS over MSS since I didn't feel like waiting for it to cure so long and the ease of application and removal. Topped it with BG and Patriot and it looks amazing. If it can look even deeper or wetter then I'll be really impressed. Silver is a different color to get looking facemelter but right now it's like the paint is glowing. If it glows even more with the new LPS, good-ness me... I may have a big garage night light! Can't wait to try this out!
  8. Looks good brother! You'll be tearing up the streets and strip again in no time.
  9. I'm long overdue for a new belt and just happened to see this thread. They look great!
  10. Darn. Everyone in the office loved seeing the variety of vehicles used in the calendar. The TT Atomic Orange Vette talks to me every day and keeps whispering sweet nothings into my ear of getting TT's for the G8. I have already answered back to it out loud when it was dead silent in the room. I'm pretty sure that officially confirmed for everyone else that I'm crazy.
  11. I know of a few rides I could use this on! Quick question tho and I hope you don't mind me asking but this will determine how many I order but what is the shelf life on this product? Thank you! I swear I wasn't stalking Adam's forum but I saw this right when you posted!
  12. Nice ride. If only they would have made the production version like this...
  13. Of course they have to put a craptastic edition of the SS in there. That car won't make it more than 5 years in a production run. If they would have left the styling alone and brought it over just as they build them down under and only swapped out the emblems then they would have been onto something but no, they can never do that. It makes too much sense. Some other interesting sights at the show. Saw a few photos of the one FR-S that's Supra powered and also another FR-S that had a nice 'satin silver' paint finish on it. The pickup is neat and I can see this one actually happening since it looks like more and more of the parts used are already being used in production models. Part of me wants to be excited but the other part is being realistic with everything at this show they promise to bring to production with the following 'I'll believe it when I see it' motto.
  14. If you can, be sure to check out Steve Strope's car that he built under his company Pure Vision going for the GM award. Tom Nelson of Nelson Racing Engines built one monster of a motor that features a lot of custom CNC machined pieces as well as his mirror imaged twin turbo setup. My company I work for goes out there every year but I'm a nobody so I'll probably never have the opportunity to go. Hope you enjoy it.
  15. Welcome. Love the color.
  16. I didn't say it had to be a 2014
  17. I'll keep saving for a CTS-V wagon.
  18. Very well done! Looks great! I'm a big fan of Rigid lighting. Have a set on the Jeep for reverse lights. The flush mounted design on your rear bumper is very clean! The new wheels and tires set it off nicely as well. Looks like she's ready for some fun in the desert! Keep up the great work!
  19. Planning on putting them on my 88 YJ. 5.3/4L60/Atlas/HP60/14 Bolt. I'm running the KM2's right now and they are an okay tire. Was going to go for a set of Pitbull Radial Rockers but it appears they changed up their sidewall construction and now they are easier to cut. I see Falken has some new offerings that are coming out and will be displayed at SEMA this year. I've seen Genright's rig with them on but they had the tires completely covered for the offroad expo. I know that the Savvy/Currie rig is running the current style this year, at least from the build photos that's what I can tell. I was thinking about siping the KM2's now to see how they would last in their last half of their life. Time to warm up the blades! I appreciate your feedback!
  20. You didn't like the latest version of the Trucklites? To me they are a vast improvement over the factory halogens while still staying SAE and DOT compliant, at least from a bolt on perspective. The JW Speaker lights have a horrible high beam pattern. You can't even tell when you click them on highs if they are actually high beams or not. Jeep looks great overall tho! Quick question if you don't mind, how do you like the Nitto's? I've been debating them for my next set of tire. I may do some additional siping since we have a lot more wet stuff out here on the east but wanted to see how they are holding up for you. Thank you and keep up the great work!
