I have only owned one American car. It was a 1975 Buick that I bought in 1981. Of course the warranty is negotiable. The bulk of the cost goes to the dealer and the rest to the manufacturer. It's a big money maker for many dealers. Too much for me would be 1 dollar more than I had to spend.
I have mine all situated in my Americana bag with the polishes, Detail Spray, APC and pads. Will be using it within the next couple of weeks or so. Possibly this weekend if it doesn't rain.
I have both now. Have yet to use the Flex yet but will be within the next week or two. Been using the PC for a few years now. I don't really like the vibration much anymore so I will be mostly using the PC with 4" pads for smaller areas.
I would rather break my toe than a leg or arm any day. At least you can still do some detailing. If it was your arm or leg, you would really be in a hurt locker.
There isn't a whole lot of water to wipe away after the Blowstorm from the MB. The WW barely gets damp before I'm done. When I use the GW, it's when I want to do the Detail Spray drying aid method and then use the MB to blow out the cracks and crevices.
Same plan I have for my PC. I bought some 4" metal polishing pads during the last sale. As long as the wife's car is on your honey do list, you're golden.
I use my GW towels every now and then. I mostly use my Master Blaster with a blue waffle weave. The GW towels are awesome though. I have used 2 of the 4 I have.
I'd do the first one free. After that, they will pay me what the going rate is for a high quality hand car wash. You're not a chump unless you feel like one.
That's a great deal assuming he has the polishing pads already. The upgrade kit would cost him $368.96 with the discount and free shipping. He has to be a reseller to get that wholesale price anyway.
