  1. +1 on the least aggressive method.
  2. I think you're on to something here. Can Adam's automatically take out money every week and send me something? I'll see if my employer will match my "contribution".
  3. It definitely doesn't last long but I feel like a little goes a long way
  4. Agreed. BG on tinted windows takes them to another level IMO.
  5. The rain itself carries contaminants from the air and drops them on your paint. You might be able to get away with waterless wash but I would suggest a full two bucket wash so that you don't ruin what you gained with your 8 hour detail. Just my two cents.

    Free Funeral

Very strange prize but I'm glad at how that story turned out.
  7. I'm thinkin the gurus will need more details. Got any pics? Also, what machine did you use? Did you make sure to clay before hand?
  8. Yeah the updated interior is definitely a step in the right direction. I actually like the headlights and grill.
  9. That's what I was thinking. On the G8 it is clear coated black paint. That almost looks like the clear coat has failed. If it is rubber, definitely needs some APC love.
  10. Sorry to hear about this. I've read a lot of people having this problem so I appreciate your video. At least I know what it sounds like but hopefully won't experience it (knock on wood). I'm clueless when it comes to how most engine parts work, I have to agree with the logic that DonJuan has provided.
  11. I agree with Beemer that watching the videos really does help. I personally mix about 3 oz of APC in with my car shampoo bucket while washing the car and that seems to strip all previous wax and/or sealants. You will want to make sure you apply sealant (in your case Quick Sealant) to clean, bare paint. Then you can layer the Americana over top of that. (Brilliant Glaze is really popular to layer in between those two by the way)
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTQh7D-nDNM Here is the extreme version of the Sidekick. Start at about 6:20.
  13. Diggin the purple! I'm thinking that burnout pic is desktop wallpaper material.
  14. Buttery Toast and Bacon Wax? I don't even care if it's better. I'm buying it.
  15. What Ryan said. I usually do two full details a year and apply QS when I'm done. This lasts through the year on my DD here in Illinois. As mentioned earlier, it doesn't hurt to apply BG and then Buttery (or Americana) on top as you see fit.
  16. All you Adamized Mustangs have me thinking differently about my next vehicle. Very nice!
  17. Welcome Anthony! What kind of horses do you have in your stable? Any pics?
  18. Maybe run through an automatic car wash once you get into your friends town. Then do waterless wash as well? Never hurts to be extra careful.
  19. Very cool lookin car. Nice job!
  20. I started with the hand polish system. I did two vehicles and realized it was not what I was looking for. I knew I had to step up to a machine. Couldn't afford anything but the PC at the time. I did a couple vehicles with that and the three step polish system and still was only getting probably 70 percent correction (still new to machine polishing really). I was just on the verge of upgrading to the flex when Adams released the new Paint Correcting and Paint Finishing Polish and boy do those two really work (even with the PC). I know I can get results faster with the flex but taking my time with the PC really paid off this past time.
  21. What kind of mods you thinkin? Also, you got any pics?
