I haven't heard this before but I'm still a newbie so the experts can feel free to correct me. After correcting the paint, it is recommended you do an IPA wipe down to remove any kind of residue from the paint. You will want clean, bare paint so that the sealant can cure correctly. Next step is to provide the best protection (this is where your choice of either Quick Sealant or Machine Super Sealant comes into play). Once you have protected your paint you can lay down layers of Brilliant Glaze and then your choice of Wax.
To me, using BG just to remove polish residue seems like a waste.
