The PC didn't really bother my hands at all. My back is pretty stiff - but that would have happened with my old hand-polishing routine. I'm sure it would have been A LOT more work if the paint were in bad shape but it was pretty quick and easy for me. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow morning: Wipe down Glaze Americana That'll be like a vacation!

Super Sealant: Check Not bad for a day's work. Only one mishap - I accidentally turned on my PC on without first placing the pad on the paint. It shot out of my hands and crashed through the driver's side window. I keed. I keed.

FMP phase done. Starting on Machine Super Sealant. Then break 'til tomorrow.

Still have to do FMP on one side, the front and the rear. Had to use SHR on one scratch but just got out the 4" pad, slapped it on my drill and it came right out. Slick as snot.

This is my favorite non-Adam's product right now:

Hood done. Looks great. Lunch break. My back is going to be sore in the AM. Reaching out to the middle of that hood was killer. Maybe the rest won't be as bad....

I found that it's better to "palm" it rather than "finger-tip" it. Sometimes you don't have a choice, tho'.

Looks like FMP will do the trick. I'll finish the hood next. If I find any scratches I'll pull out the SHR.

I was planning on finishing the old clay on the lower part of the bumper when I dropped it. Darn bumpers.

sVRT: Check Taping: Check BTW: The tape I used (3M Automotive tape) will NOT stick to the plastic treated with sVRT. Commence PC starting w/ FMP 2'x2' test. Paint's in very good shap (no swirls) so hopefully FMP will be all that's necessary.

I had gotten a bit too much gunk in it from one of my rocker panels.

Clay bar: Check Only dropped it once and I was about to get another piece anyway - so no harm done.... sVRT now....

I'm glad the O's are doing well but I really don't think it'll last. Hope I'm wrong....

Strip wash (Dawn): Check (All my glorious beads are gone! It just looks wet - and not in a good way...) Sheet rinse: Check Detail Spray-down: Check Commence clay. BTW: Love the wash pad.

Perfect weather: Cloudy/cool Been looking forward to this for a while. 1st up: Wheel wells, wheels and tires. 2nd: Strip wash I'm all tingly.

What has happend to the Twins the last couple of years? Yikes! Even when they can get the M&M boys on the field they can't win. I bet they're glad they spent all that $$$ on the new ballpark....

That "Texas Heat" thing is WAY overplayed. (What - it's not hot in Atlanta? Baltimore? NYC?) It's a matter of conditioning. And I believe BOTH teams have to play in the same heat. Thank goodnes Nolan Ryan has put an end to that excuse/myth.

What to you think of Cole Hamels plunking Bryce Harper? Here's how I see it: Plunk him if you want to plunk him. Everyone KNOWS it was intentional. But don't ADMIT IT! You say "I was just trying to come inside and it got away." Hamel is suspended 5 games.

I've got another one for ya.... When did it become necessary to boo the visiting pitcher every time he throws over to first? I mean - if he throws over there 10 times when the runner doesn't even have a lead, ok. But every time? Sometimes I want to stand up and scream, "Have you ever SEEN a baseball game before?"

If/when Mo retires they should wave the 5 year wait for Hall of Fame induction.

Who's that loser that's always down on the second row that turns around and tries to get everyone to stand up? This is America!
