Thanks, Mook. The Rocket is currently tucked away in the garage under a nice warm dust cover. When the storms are gone and the sun comes out you can bet I'll start to grim up that shine. After reading the May Photo Contest rules I've decided not to enter these shots in the contest. I've got a couple of weeks to find some Texas wild-flowers and get some better shots...

I guess I'll enter it into the contest, then. I don't think the dandilions are very "flowery" but....

OK - I won't tell you..... Actually - I'm starting to feel the same as you about them although I have gotten more positive comments than negative. I just don't look forward to the pain of taking all four wheels off again. Next time I have a tire rotation I'll probably have them removed.

Thanks. Yeah - I don't understand it. I guess most people prefer the "metallic" colors but this was the only color I was interested in. Love the Blue Coupe.

Unfortunately I took too much time off to do it. I have to go back to work. And there are storms coming..... Mother's Day might be a nice day to take the wife for a drive, though.

After two nearly complete days of detailing -here's the Red Rocket (2010 Camaro 1LT) in all it's glory:

Trim cleaned: Check Glass cleaned and sealed: Check I thought the glass would be a booger to clean because it looked so nasty after over 24 hours of clay and detail spray sitting on it. Nope. Cleaned right up. I even applied a little Quick Sealer on the front bumper/grill, front roof/pillars, gills. Hopefully this will make the bug massacre easier to deal with. Other than that: FIN! Just gonna pull her outside and take some snaps. I'll post those in another thread since I guess this one has outstayed it's welcome in the general section...

Americana: Check My Camaro use to be red and now it's red, white & blue. Last Americana joke. I promise. Hand on my heart. Time for a lunch break and then some trim cleanup and the glass really needs some attention now....

Brilliant Glaze: Check It kinda felt like I was spreading sun-tan lotion on a gorgeous girl. Next up: Americana Cue Lee Greenwood. Protocol question: Do I need to remove my cap when I'm applying Americana?
