  1. I'd like to hear some feedback aswell bc I'm in the market for both items too.
  2. This is my truck after I love it, I use it often.
  3. Thanks! It originally had some plastic covered "chrome" 18s on it. I found these wheels used for a good price, then leveled it with 275/60r20s.
  4. Thanks for the kind words fellas. Yeah I'll cringe for sure once it snows and on my 30 mile commute tomorrow with all the salt on the ground. It was kind of fun to let it go for those two weeks because I think the wow factor was much bigger this time for me.
  5. Thanks! Yeah the salt was so thick it almost looked like it was sprayed on like line-x or something.
  6. Washed my truck yesterday, It was BAD! Before the first snow or salting of the roads I did the following: Strip wash Clay Adams Shampoo Machine Super sealant (24 hours cure time) Brilliant glaze and finished up with americana wax So I let it go for a while, about 2 weeks and it looked like this: So I washed it up and it looks soooo much better! Ill do my best over the winter but itll get a full correction in the spring and hopefully Ill have a Flex by then and dedicate my porter cable to my focus pads.
  7. Ok thanks. It looks like I might be in the clear. The stuff has been moved to the basement!
  8. Dylan, I guess I have neglected my products. I have a bunch of gallon refills that I left in my garage and they have become a thin slushy consistency, well just the detail spray and all purpose cleaner. Did it completely ruin them ya think? I just found them like that so I've grout it all down to my basement. What do you guys think?
  9. I think those colors aren't justified in pictures. They are so much more dramatic in person! Great looking cars. I'd love to have a 1LE.
  10. A strip wash shampoo would be great Maybe made in the USA Adams ladder for us truck guys. And instead of a shelf on top of the ladder, a little basket to keep products in. And of course stickers, banners and patches to show our love and support are always great ideas!
  11. I didn't know you could polish single stage lie that. Looks great!
  12. I agree. This thread is amazing proof of what can be achieved. I can't wait to polish my truck again in the spring.
  13. Shoot, I never got one. I didn't even think about it because I never knew I'd change the pads. I checked the box again and nothing. The manual and handle are in there though.
  14. I keep looking at the temp outside (38 degrees) and saying "we'll it's not THAT cold". I hate have my truck the least bit dirty.
  15. Was the porter cable supposed to come with the tool to change the backing plate? How do you change it for the focus pads?
  16. Any preference between the hydro or the gilmour? The hydrofoam 481 is only $20 plus shipping $12 shipping. The gilmour 95q is $50 plus $6 shipping. I'd really like to get one.
  17. Your car is black right? Some shots it may look dark blue and I wasn't sure for a while. Now I want to go out and polish my truck! Oh and I know a guy who actually does chrome paint, it's crazy stuff.
  18. I know this thread is a couple months old but I can't stop looking at it. Sharp looking SS. I love it!
  19. Thanks guys, it's fun to see a transformation like that.
