  1. Have you had any brake work done on the car recently ? Brake fluid is the only thing I have ever seen eat through clearcoat like that.
  2. Buttery is great for a garage kept vehicle, so easy to use and the results are amazing, it just won't last as long as paste if kept outside.
  3. Still one of my favorite hood designs of all time, looks great

    In Over My Head

And ask a friend to help, things like that are much easier with 2 sets of eyes
  5. If it is a garage queen just hang some bubble wrap with painters tape. Hang it from the window, worse case it will be a reminder for her to stay away
  6. The Adams wheel brush is the only thing that touches the face of my wheels.
  7. Have you ever seen a flea or tick on your car, well have you ????
  8. I just can't help myself, if I spray detail spray on I wipe it off. I know it's fine to leave it on but that's just me being me
  9. Jeff, where are you and what kind of car are you polishing ? Year, make, model ?
  10. I really don't want to know what I've spent over the last 10 or 12 years lol
  11. I'm relegated to rinseless washing for the foreseeable future, complete outside watering ban in effect as of yesterday. This will give you an idea how dry it's been I think he was safe
  12. If there is wax in them then APC and a drop or two of dishwashing liquid, rinse out good then through the wash.
  13. Well said, I think this sums up the OP's frustrations. This really is an easy system to use with minimal chance of causing more damage than what you started with, but it is possible if not done correctly. I remember the first time I went around a vette with a PC, I thought I was in way over my head and there was no way I could possibly fix any swirls without spending 6 months locked in my garage. A few weeks later, with a little practice under my belt, I just looked back and laughed. It's not magic, it takes some practice to get it right and once you do "get it" you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish. I believe I asked in the initial thread, where is the OP located, i'm sure there is a member in the area who would be willing to assist. I've done it myself and have meet some good friends by doing this. Time is precious to us all, some of us do this as a form of therapy and exercise. To others it isn't worth the time. No harm no foul, that's why there are professional detailers, if it's not your cup of tea pay someone else to do it
  14. I still like wax over sealant, and Buttery is a great way to add a little quick protection after a wash.
  15. I still haven't finished mine from 2 formulas ago, guess i overstocked lol
  16. I always wash after any use that involves touching paint, glass and interior type things I sometimes use more than once. And I have an old helmet bag that I save all my detail towels in until I am ready for a load of just microfiber. And always dry on the lowest setting possible, then I finish on the Air Only cycle.
  17. You'll be fine but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sale soon
  18. No reach for anything but the face of the wheel and if it can be used to scrub a gas grill I'm not sure i'd try it on my wheels.
  19. Welcome to AF Daniel, lookup Norm Wood. He is the Adams distributor up in your area. You can load up on products in person
  20. Congrats on the new ride, now lets see those pictures
  21. Were you putting it away wet ? After the first day of hang drying I turn it inside out and hang for 2 more days
