I'll be making the trip down again this year. Awesome event. We're taking the wagon down. 7500 registered cars, not to mention all the cars cruising the beach. I'll have to meet up with y'all sometime.

Remove emblem, polish the paint then either put the emblem back on or leave it off. It's the only way to get inside the emblem.

A MSDS should be available to anyone who requests them. "Your right to know".

All Finished off with Adams Paint Sealant, Brilliant Glaze and Buttery Wax. Turned out amazing with a very satisfied customer.

This Camaro has spent the last few months at the performance shop getting a few upgrades. The owner lived 4 hours away and had set up for me to take the car when the tuning was done. I was lucky enough to drive this beast from the dyno shop to my house.
I had well over 20 hours into this car to bring the paint back to as perfect as possible. Started with cleaning the wheels with Deep Wheel cleaner and tires/fender wells with APC.
The 2 bucket wash was started with a rinse down and a foam mixture of APC, Car Shampoo and a little Rinseless Wash followed by a 2 bucket wash. I like to clay with the car still wet from the wash to save on Detail Spray. I'll use my wash soap instead for clay lube. This car spends most of its day inside so claying was quick using the "Made in Japan" Clay. I'm not sure where that came from, must have seent me a batch of the old stuff. I kinda like the old stuff better anyway.
After drying with the trusty and absorbent GWDT I did a full inspection of the paint. I've done my share of black 5th gen Camaro's so I knew I would need to go aggressive on this paint to get great results in a timely manner.
After doing a test spot with my Flex 3401. I determined the process that was needed for the entire car with the exception of removing a few deep scratches here and there. I used another brand xrta cut MF cutting pad with another brand compound to cut through the really deep scratches. Followed by Adams PCP with another brands MF cutting pad and actually finished Adams PFP and an Orange foam pad.

^^^ Looks very nice. Did you use SVRT on the trim? My uncle has a white special edition FJ that he asked me to do. As soon as we settle on a date I will be polishing his.
I washed my daily driver and applied some Adam's tire shine. I didn't get picks as I was losing daylight.
Yep, Super VRT on all the trim an the new tire shine in the tires.

Personally I squeeze mine in a shop towel until no more tire dressing come out on the towel. Then let it sit on a paper towel until next use. I don't find it necessary to clean the tire applicators. I've had the same one for over 8 months.

Beautiful Truck.

I would love to see one in person some day. if I ever test drive a cts-v I wonder if it'll win me over. My TBSS is hard to beat.
After sitting in one and getting on the throttle for the first time you'll be addicted.
