  1. Yeah right Bill! We know how your dealership visits go. Make sure to post pics!
  2. I just picked some up at Wesco Autobody. Wesco is a body supply store. The 1/2" rolls were $3.15 and the 3/4" was $3.85. See if you have a Wesco or any other body supply shop.
  3. I figured he had. I just thought maybe he was the un-loved moderator who got left out!
  4. Yes, I just finished putting 2 coats of Buttery wax on. I will be doing it all over again soon as well! But, I'm ready to go driving once the rain stops again.
  5. Looks like the vette will be sitting in the garage for at least the next week and a half waiting for your paste wax too arrive. Hope the weather isn't nice outside for your sake!
  6. Man, this would be a great detail clinic to attend.
  7. That's nearly what I got back, but I think some of it is going back to Uncle Sam. After my taxes were completed by my tax person, I was reviewing them and saw that I was getting 2X the depreciation on my rental property than in years past. So, now I have to do an ammendment and most likely send a check back in. So, I have the money just sitting in the bank, waiting to be spent, but knowing it's not all mine.
  8. I know a lot of people use this to blo water from crevices and to help dry the car, but do they use the same hose that they use to vacuum? It seems that dirt would be in the hose from vacuuming, then when switching the hose to the blower, you would be blasting the car with dirt/debris. Are people buying a seperate hose for blowing only?
  9. Nice and shiny Chris. I've been waiting for the weather to change around here to start using all these Adams products gathering dust in the garage! Can't beat a freshly cleaned/waxed black vehicle.
  10. I really wanted to come down for this, but didn't want to risk the drive down from Seattle in my G8 with summer only tires on and the threat of snow. Hopefully Adam will make another trip to the Pacific Northwest again so I can get a chance to meet him and attend one of his detail clinics.
  11. Sounds like a good excuse to take the G8 for a road trip. Count me in.
  12. That should be a fun project. Mine was white as well. Mine was in really great shape. Keep us updated as the project goes along.
  13. Kris, do you have any pictures of your 65 Mustang posted on the site? If so, can you post a link to them? I used to own a 65 Coupe. It was my first car in highschool and part way through college, until it got totalled being hit while parked along the road.
  14. I'm so sick of winter. Had some snow this winter, but it's been constant rain in the Seattle area. Then when it is somewhat of a nice day, I don't get to get the car out to enjoy it because I've been working 11+ hour days, 6-7 days per week. Go to work in the dark, and come home in the dark. Looking forward to a week of fun and sun in Cancun! 1 week left. Can't wait. Hopefully the weather will be good when I get back.
  15. I was going to order some metal polish 1 or 2 up the other night, but when I went to the site I only saw Metal Polish 1. So is this what I should order, or is there a new labeled version coming out?
  16. I got a gallon of VRT from Richie Carbone last week. He only had a few gallons at the time, and he's out of it now. At $29.99 plus shipping I had to have it! I also got a 1/2 gallon of Brilliant Spray Glaze. I missed out on his free shipping offer, but it was still a great deal.
  17. After seeing some of the videos on YouTube, I had to have one. Just can't wait for some good weather to use it.
  18. Yes. The pictures I posted earlier are a 32 oz bottle I bought at Home Depot. That bottle that came with the foamer wasn't very good. I tried to use it as a diluted mixture sprayer for the All Purpose Cleaner, but it leaked with a sprayer attached. Tossed it in the garbage.
