Master Blaster Buyers Remorse....
08G8V8 replied to stripesace's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
The title had me thinking I made a mistake.....I purchased one just around Christmas time, but haven't used it yet. Been lazy lately. Look forward to getting out and washing the cars this week. -
Finally pull d the trigger on the Master Blaster Revolution. Had a couple 25amp circuits added to the garage a few months back. Have had the Sidekick for a few years, but have wanted the Master Blaster since I bought it. Normally no 15% off on the Master Blaster on most sales, but the Black Friday sale it did, so I went for it.

Dan, I ordered my pressure washer today. I went with the AR630-TSS. I didn't see this model on Pressurewashersdirect website, but found they do make the AR630 with the TSS feature, in a cold water unit. I didn't think I would use the hot water setup, and saved $120 which helped cover the cost of the 50' hose (1/4 diameter), jumper hose and quick connect fittings. Found the 100' hose reel on Amazon for a good price. Hopefully I don't regret getting it over a 50' reel. Look forward to getting everything and getting it setup and can start using it with the CRSpotless. Then when the cooler fall weather comes around start working on polishing my black Sierra crew cab.

Adams Master Blaster?
08G8V8 replied to socalmustang's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
It doesn't make sense to me why it doesn't come with a 20 amp plug on the cord, forcing it to only be used in a 20 amp circuit, if it is rated at drawing 18 amps. -
Adams Master Blaster?
08G8V8 replied to socalmustang's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I had an electrician friend wire in 2 25amp circuits for me in the garage last weekend, in preparation of a Master Blaster and an electric pressure washer and probably a 30 gal compressor. was going to do 20 amp, but he suggested 25amp. -
I just got a tin of it. Still have a good quick sealant application on the car. I will strip wash here soon and put the Patriot on. The G8 with get Patriot since it gets the garage and the Sierra will stick with Paint Sealant since it lives outside.

Do you use your windshield washers?
08G8V8 replied to BoCRon's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I recently had my windshield washer reservoir removed to make room for an auxiliary transmission cooler, and a 2nd cooler for the supercharger. Priorities....it had to go! -
I asked pressure washers direct the question on extending the hose or just getting a 50 foot hose, and if going 50 foot whether to stay 1/4 or go bigger to 5/16 or 3/8. They gave me a 3/8 diameter hose part number, but not why it would be better. Think I would prefer the 1/4 diameter hose. I had my electrician come out today and wire (2) 25 amp outlets. I will be ready for the pressure washer and Master Blaster, and a compressor I've been wanting. Do you empty your CRSpotless unit? I've been thinking about tapping into the bottom of each canister with a petcock valve to drain the water.

Pressure Washer Question
08G8V8 replied to Beegee55's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I have been looking at getting an electric pressure washer. Never thought about this, and never saw anybody mention it, but I would think this is a common issue with pressure Washers of all brands.- 13 replies

Been thinking about a minisplit as well. It's so hot and humid here in Georgia.....pretty miserable.

Perfect....thanks!

Savannah Georgia.....doesn't get too cold here in winter time. It will be nice to have the option, but will need to look into plumbing.

I really need to. I've got a black G8GT and a black Sierra. That is why I bought it, but the Karacher pressure washer is a hassle. I just made a setup to switch between tap water and CR water. Now I am pretty much set on getting the AR630TSS-HOT. Really want the auto start and stop feature. Need to get a 20 amp circuit installed in the garage though. I don't know if I need the hot water feature, but I do have a sink in the garage that I could get plumbed to feed it. The AR630 seems like a good setup with good features for not too bad of a price. I've got a gas pressure washer, but again, too much hassle.

I haven't been on the forum here for awhile. I read through your thread last night.....very impressive. I have my CRSpotless unit mounted to my garage wall, but really haven't used it. Want to get an electric pressure washer and integrate it with the CR setup. I have a cheap Karacher unit, but want something with a hose reel setup.

Matte Black Wheel Hazing
08G8V8 replied to FRCFED's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Oh man, I guess I will need to test out my wheels to see how they react to the different wheel products. I just installed a set of CTS-V satin graphite wheels on my G8, but have only washed them with carwash soap so far. -
I have a CRSpotless setup as well for awhile, but never really set it up and used it. I recently made a setup to take the cart setup and mount it on the garbage wall and switch between just tap water and filtered water. Now I need to add in a splitter to split between hose and pressure washer. Sorry for the sideways pic......not sure how to rotate.

Adam's Staff Update?
08G8V8 replied to Kingsford's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I felt the same when Jason suddenly left years ago. He was the main guy when the forum originally started. Dylan was his replacement. Not sure what happened back then and don't know what happened now.....but I'm sure all will be fine. -
FAQ - "Do the products have a shelf life?"
08G8V8 replied to Team Adam's's topic in The Adam's Detailing Library
I've seen posts where folks have heated up their Americana and repoured it into the container. Mine has shrunk but not split. I might look into it one of these days. It is fine as it is, but would be better firmly in the container. Do a search if interested. -
WOW. "Just needs a wash and a wax."

Mook, I think you missed my question here, so I'm bumping it up.

Mook, in most if not all details you post, you list that you used the Flex with 7" pads. I don't see any PC or Cyclo with the 4" pads for the smaller areas. Are you able to do the smaller areas around the bumpers and pillars with the Flex?
