Like the advice in some of the other threads, the less you touch black paint, the longer it will look great without having to polish it regularly.

Get yourself a Master Blaster to blow 95% of the water off, including all the cracks and crevices, then go back with some Detail Spray and a plush towel to get the last of the drops and drips.  You willbe surprised at how much better a Master Blaster works than a leaf blower or the Sidekick.

Another option is to wash/rinse with deionized water, then you can blow it off and leave the 5% of what's left to air dry.  Sometimes I will not blow at all and just let it drip dry, but I have found that a lot of standing water on the paint will collect airborne dust, and when it dries it will leave behind some visible spots.  This is not water spotting, but just the collected dust left on paint where the water beads were.

Since you like to keep your truck/car clean all the time, you can also do "touchless washes" to get the dust off by just pressure washing with DI water, then blow it off, with no towel drying at all.  With just light dust, and no spotting from rain or anything, this gets it 98% clean, without much effort.

The key is to have your equipment setup so it is not a chore to get it all out. Mount the filter, pressure washer, and a hose reel on your garage wall.  Have it all hooked up, so all you have to do is turn on the water, pull the pressure washer hose off the reel, then go right to washing.

I just run them thru a double rinse cycle.  They are 'clean' but could have some left loose threads from the cutting/stitching process.

+1 I totally agree... Great idea. This should be integrated into the next label design!

Thanks! I will need to order a canister.

I am in the process of installing a drain petcock on the bottom of the canisters.  I drilled, tapped, and did some grinding on one last night, then sealed in a petcock and let it cure over night.  I don't like the idea of leaving the water in the canisters.  Hopefully it all works as I plan and envision.

Yes, I use the bulk resin refill in the drum.

It is 1 cuft of resin, weighs 45 lbs, and is drum shaped (approx 13" diam and 18" tall).

^^Me as well - sometimes I just give a rinse with the pressure washer in the summer and then pull in the garage and do a rinseless wash so that I can keep the cars out of the sun

Clay the car.  Even though it is a "new" car, it will need to be clayed.

Finally pull d the trigger on the Master Blaster Revolution. Had a couple 25amp circuits added to the garage a few months back. Have had the Sidekick for a few years, but have wanted the Master Blaster since I bought it. Normally no 15% off on the Master Blaster on most sales, but the Black Friday sale it did, so I went for it.

Dan, I ordered my pressure washer today. I went with the AR630-TSS. I didn't see this model on Pressurewashersdirect website, but found they do make the AR630 with the TSS feature, in a cold water unit. I didn't think I would use the hot water setup, and saved $120 which helped cover the cost of the 50' hose (1/4 diameter), jumper hose and quick connect fittings. Found the 100' hose reel on Amazon for a good price. Hopefully I don't regret getting it over a 50' reel.

Look forward to getting everything and getting it setup and can start using it with the CRSpotless. Then when the cooler fall weather comes around start working on polishing my black Sierra crew cab.

I had an electrician friend wire in 2 25amp circuits for me in the garage last weekend, in preparation of a Master Blaster and an electric pressure washer and probably a 30 gal compressor. was going to do 20 amp, but he suggested 25amp.

I recently had my windshield washer reservoir removed to make room for an auxiliary transmission cooler, and a 2nd cooler for the supercharger. Priorities....it had to go!

The screw-on lids on the Adam's car wash buckets are very handy but I found during the first use that just inside the rim of the lid there is a little groove that traps dirt and grit which makes it hard to rinse them out.

Here is a picture of the underside of the portion of the bucket lid that stays on the bucket. This part then has the threads that the lid screws into. You can see the groove.

I used a small squeeze tube of 100% silicone caulk to fill this groove and then smoothed it off with my finger. Problem solved.

Savannah Georgia.....doesn't get too cold here in winter time. It will be nice to have the option, but will need to look into plumbing.

I really need to. I've got a black G8GT and a black Sierra. That is why I bought it, but the Karacher pressure washer is a hassle. I just made a setup to switch between tap water and CR water. Now I am pretty much set on getting the AR630TSS-HOT. Really want the auto start and stop feature. Need to get a 20 amp circuit installed in the garage though.

I don't know if I need the hot water feature, but I do have a sink in the garage that I could get plumbed to feed it. The AR630 seems like a good setup with good features for not too bad of a price. I've got a gas pressure washer, but again, too much hassle.

I haven't been on the forum here for awhile. I read through your thread last night.....very impressive. I have my CRSpotless unit mounted to my garage wall, but really haven't used it. Want to get an electric pressure washer and integrate it with the CR setup. I have a cheap Karacher unit, but want something with a hose reel setup.
