  1. What he said. Powerstroke turbo diesel.
  2. I'll usually reply "yeah for $300 I'll wash yours next". They don't make foolish comments anymore, lol.
  3. I really like how you are making daily specials with stuff I already have. If I keep buying stuff on specials I'm gonna be broke!
  4. I know! When I saw it I thought man what I could do for this airplane. But since its so oxidized I was afraid it would trash my pads since there isn't a clear coat.
  5. My father-in-law has a Piper Archer airplane, and like most of us here would do, I was eyeballing the paint when I went for a flight last weekend. The plane sits out in the weather 24/7 at the local airport. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a clearcoat, and the paint is pretty oxidized/faded. Is there anything I can do to spruce it up, or is it toast because it doesn't have a clearcoat?
  6. If one were to apply the glass sealant to the side windows, would using BG on those windows remove the glass sealant?
  7. Used it for the first time on my windows tonight. Man Brilliant Glaze is MONEY! Windows look amazing!
  8. My time is money so I bought the flex. Haven't had any issues yet.
  9. I even have her come into the garage and I show her all the steps involved in washing and polishing and explain to her what each product does. It's at that point she realizes what a pita it can be and goes back inside the house. ?
  10. My wife never gives me crap because I wash her car first. If she ever did, her car wouldn't get washed anymore.
  11. I had some water spots and the flex polisher combined with the sshr and then following up with shr and fmp did the trick. Of course I washed and clayed first, but that didn't do much to the spots.
  12. Yes sir. It's my assigned take home vehicle, therefore my responsibility to keep it clean. My pride and a slight bit of OCD (both enhanced by a few years in the US Marines) means it gets the Adams treatment as well as the other vehicles in my driveway. I degreased the rims yesterday with APC and painted them with high gloss high temp paint, then hit the tires with some SVRT. I started to hit the chrome center cap with my 4" pad and some metal polish #1, but decided to wait until my second 4" pad comes in for metal polish #2. I also had some faded decals replaced yesterday. Next up will be to clean the engine and then full detail inside and out.
  13. I know this may sound dumb, but I thought I heard Adam or Dylan say the detail spray helps neutralize the ph of my hard water. So my question is: after washing and rinsing, do I spray with detail spray and then blow off the excess water so the remaining water is neutral and not staining the finish, or do I blow excess water off first and then hit it with the spray before drying?

    Autism App

My wife does physical therapy with autistic kids and doesn't make a ton of money but she loves it just because of the kids.
  15. ^ what he said. But I've only owned my bottles a month or two
  16. Thank you too. Sucks having 3 cars to detail instead of two like most people, lol. But then again it gives me more opportunity to sniff the detail spray.
  17. [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000XTH1GY?qid=1354213276&sr=8-2]Gilmour 75QGFMR Foamaster Adjustable Multi Ratio Cleaning Gun:Amazon:Patio, Lawn & Garden[/ame]
