  1. That car is ugly but I think it is sweet on some cars like... http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-ferrari-f430-tunero/400261/
  2. When i got a ticket in my truck decided to pull the tint....went to a tit shop told me it would be like $20 i think then preceded to tell me how to do it and save him time and me money... take a razor blade and get under the corner and peel back then slow and steady pressure pull off like one big decal. Now you must get off all the glue, to do this use allot of soapy water and the razor blade to scrape off.
  3. I don't want to thread jack but since we are on the topic does any one know about Pontiac paint hardness. I tested on my hood this weekend and results were slow. I wasn't using Adams (im sold but full of other product at the moment).
  4. Nice work... thats how i spent Sunday after Easter dinner... that coating looks to be comparative to about 2 weeks worth on my GP GXP fronts (polished aluminum not greypaint underneath though) so i can tell you a little about brake dust clean up and GWC is were its at!
  5. I will have to agree with you about the gwc and ace stick combo. My fronts dust up like a mother so fast (need to switch to ceramic pads) its annoying. the gwc cuts it pretty good and with a little agitation from the ace stick they look great. My rims are pretty open so I can semi-easily clean them with out the ace stick but with out it, but to do the area by the caliper( 1 in clearance maybe) I had to clean the rest of the rim rinse then back up the car and get the area still black with dust. I tried to take pics to show results but my camera isnt that good. maybe in a week once they get dusted up nice and good i will try with some on elses camera.

    Old junk

I dont wanna speak for him but im pretty sure its not the new adams bag. ive seen it some place else.
  7. Id say fill up the bucket with soapy water and your wash pad at home, go the the self wash only use the sprayer to get her wet and rinse do a normal wash get it dry finish at home.
  8. *******s... My latest order is due here tomm. Its a good thing im broke. I know you guys do detail clinics but do you also hold support groups / meetings you know the kind " Hi my name is _________ and im an adamsaholic"
  9. Dylan's idea is good but i also go with the damp towel. I have one car my DD and with Michigan weather it gets washed allot (i.e. Yesterday mid 50's today rain turning to snow and about 30). So when i dry the jams it usually cleans off what ever debris has collected since the last wash. I guess it depends on you and your ride.
  10. Just a guess but has your Ride ever been hit with egg? I had something looking similar that showed up after my truck got hit with an egg one night.
  11. You think he used lines from his infomercials such as "Your gonna love my nutts"
  12. Ive got one by me... my dad loves the place cuz they are cheap. The quality isn't completely junk but its generally not stuff we use all the time. IMO for electric/ air tools not a good choice, But we do alot of our own work on the vehicles.
  13. So howd you get it off? I think that's what Ive got on my front rims. My guess is some type of brake dust road grime ****tail, given that my rears had nearly none and the fact my car model is notorious for dusting on the front.
  14. Looks great man! My car did the same thing when i took of the rear wheels last weekend for about 30 min i thought i had bent some suspension parts or somthin with the jack.... until i pushed down on the rear end a few times and it settled a little. ? the pics before polish that black stuff was that some type of grim that wouldn't scrub off?
  15. I just order a PC and am looking to buy some older pads b/c they are cheaper to practice/tear up and learn on my dads truck with (gets washed about twice a year) Am i understanding correctly that i need an adapter to use them?

    What the???

You know what that's kinda like how i work with my dad he always tells me to do some tedious pita job around the house. Instead of arguing I just go to it and do it the official wrong way he sees this nonsense " No No, what do you have Sh*t for brains why would you do it like that " and wam bam i get the rest of my Saturday back.
  17. Well how man grown men do you know that play with dolls at all let alone sober?
  18. Thanks krzdimond. I was thinking about getting a pc and just doing research.
  19. What size is this backing plate? I know the pads are 7.5 but i cant find the backing plate size anywhere. Just curious as to if it will fit other pads.
  20. Hey Guys I was kinda worried as well, being that this is also my first order and i wasn't sure what to expect, but I didn't consider all the factors (the promotion, and the fact i ordered just before the weekend) I guess it doesn't help that I am kinda like a little kid when i am expecting something i cant wait to get it :mail:and if there is a tracking option ill check it every day. Now I don't want to Speak for Bill (since I don't know him) but i get the impression he feels the same as i do just curious and anxious to try the product. Not mad at all. Actually at first i found it kinda odd/funny that you guys are worried about a disgruntled customer when from bills posts(to me at least) hes seems content and just curious, but I guess this just backs your reputation of great customer service. Myself I firmly believe in giving people a chance to fix a problem ( not that there was one here) or explain before you get all worked up. Some times things happen (or should i say valentines sales happen). People are to crazy nowadays about this kinda stuff. Thats just my 2Cents
  21. What about the ever popular "You gonna do mine next"
