Show and Shine.ca  They are in Windsor Ont.
Don carries all the Adams products.
All prices are in Canadian funds, no FedEx bill a week or two later.
Prompted shipping. Most of the time I receive it in two days. In some cases, I have received it next day.
I get great customer service here. This is the only way to  Adam's north of the border.

Not sure if any of this clears up anything, but here it goes...

Pic 1: Here's what it looked like at 6:17pm. The rubbing/smearing you see if from me slightly rubbing it this morning (it was still a tad wet in high spots). At the time of taking this pic it was all dry and pretty sticky. (think dried on soda)

Pretty hard to pick up on camera, but at certain angles you could see it. (transparent)

    Pic 2: From different angle

Pic 3: Rubbing it pretty hard with short nap microfiber towel.

Pic 4: A finishing polish (Reflect) easily removed it. (by hand)

Here is where it looks most like the pic provided by the OP. This is the over spray part (next 4 pics). I tested it in a spot not pictured and it was not coming off with vigorous rubbing. A finishing polish (as expected) made quick work of it done by hand with a short nap microfiber towel. Obviously I way over applied it, so in reality my situation shouldn't happen at all.

Next four pictures show my attempt at removing it with IPA mixed with a rinse-less wash product...

Didn't completely remove the dripping, so it seems that a finishing polish is the best option (no surprise there). Was hard to get it pictured.

Not sure if this helps the OP as it was already stated that a finishing polish would clear it up, but even after way over applying it I didn't seem to quite get the exact results as the OP (but maybe I did).

*Pictures taken with phone. I am not a photographer. My apologies.

378 Pete reacted to Adam in Adam's Distribution Has Simplified....100% Colorado!
Friends, what a year it has been!  In October of 2013, we started using a 3rd Party Logistics company.  Reason:  We couldn't ship orders quick enough, and believed this was a viable solution.  That program didn't go so well.   Well, really, it failed miserably, expensively, and we pulled out after a big lesson was learned.

Original plan, and post was explained here: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/26715-incomplete-orders-errors-delays-the-reasons-why-and-the-big-plan-to-fix-it/

Then, another aggressive plan:  Establish remote distribution centers, to efficiently deliver orders to either coast in 2 business days!  Looked good on paper, and we ran the numbers a zillion times.  It made financial sense, if our system was perfect.......but, it wasn't.

We learned: Maintaining multiple distribution centers required significant additional inventory, bulletproof inventory management software and system, and a new, well-trained team in each location.

While that might sound like a tough thing to do, in reality, it proved extremely difficult!

Now what?  Well, now we are back to the basics.  Back to Colorado, shipping from our HQ exclusively.  We have gotten the band back together too!  Dylan is back in on the team, and we have already accomplished some goals.

We lost sight of the simplicity that made our business, and brand so authentic.  It's safe to say we will be keeping it simple moving forward, and specialize in having the greatest USA made products available, instead of being a distribution powerhouse.

Thank you for sticking with us through my blunders and fumbles.  I'm humbled to have earned, and kept your business.

    Sincerely,

    -Adam

Both of the above replies got it on point.. They can be pretty brutal on your paint, but they can function as your workhorse towels that you don't want to subject the nicer microfibers to. Metal, engine bay, scrubbing towels for the inside on carpets and what not. Just my 2 cents!

What do you mean you had the Terrain undercoated?  As in you paid for one of those shoddy dealer services?

Modern cars today all have corrosion protection on the undercarriage of the vehicle, thus negating the need for additional coatings after purchase.

If its solvent based and like dissolves like, then WD-40 is fine on the wheels, its more of a cleaner anyway and is non-corrosive, I've been using WD-40 to remove adhesive on paint for years with no ill effects so I assume it would remove anything solvent based on your wheels with no issues.

Sit in the passenger seat with the towel in your right hand, then reach over your body and rotate your hand over 180 degrees and it should then be easy to reach the whole windshield.

Here is how I make a windshield disappear (so to speak).

Start with dry windshield (yes, just as it is right now-do not wet the windshield)

0000 steel wool, rub entire window until it's totally super smooth. This will take awhile but the results will be amazing.

Next, clay bar with Adams clay bar and some lubricant. This is just to make sure you didn't miss an area.

Next, quick spray of Adams Glass Cleaner to remove any residue form the clay treatment.

Next, apply Adams Glass Sealant as directed and allow to dry. Remove with a spray of Glass Cleaner. Do not try and remove this without spraying a bit of window cleaner!

Step back and smile. The windshield will look new (aside from chips, dings etc)

Aside from the 0000 steel wool, the most important tool is the microfiber towel you use. Without question, using the Adams Microfiber towel for windows is the ONLY way to properly clean glass. When Adam showed me this towel and the results, you will fully understand why there is absolutely no other choice!

Entire process for a Corvette/Porsche size windshield, about 25 minutes.
