What's taped? I can't even tell. is it the table top (the brushed steel look) looks great!
I kinda wanna wrap the wood grain finish in the benz with something like this. I'm not a fan of wood grain at all. Kinda shame because the CL series have matched real wood which is actually very nice... Just not my thing.
The whole body and drawers of the desk are wrapped. Original color was tan and had been painted poorly by the people I got it from. At first I tried to sand the desk down to raw steel but couldn't get a uniform enough look so I decided to wrap it. The top is a stainless piece from Ikea. The original top was formica and didn't fit the new styling.

I've used 3m 1080 vinyl with pretty good success. I wrapped a tanker desk in brushed steel finish. The film is such that you can peel it back up if you make a mistake but want to avoid this if you can. Depending on how complex the shape and/or sharp edges/angles that is where it will be tricky. Here are pictures of how the desk turned out.

I've also got a 1969 bronco show truck pushing 518hp. I want to talk with someone about what products to use on it.
Thought your user name looked familiar from classic broncos. I have a 1973 Bronco and we spoke previously when I was buying Wildwood parts for my brake upgrade. Welcome to the forum.

Great pictures Joe. Have you guys considered doing a video or picture office and shop tour? Looks like there are lots of cool things around there (metal barrister cabinet in office, signs/neons on walls.....think I've seen a tanker desk around there, a bike collection and car collection in some older pictures). For those of us who have never been there would be cool to see more of Adam's HQ.

Post the pictures and let the experts here see what you are dealing with. What towels are you using in your final polish? Could they be the source of your micro scratches? For the deeper, if you've tried various compounds and still have scratches I don't think 2000 grit is going to get you there. You'll probably have to sand with something much more aggressive and then work your way back up in grit or with compounds again. I have a set of Weld Racing billets that I got used and had to sand from 150 grit and up and I still didn't remove all the imperfections. Once you get them where you want them I recommend using Adam's quick sealant to help keep them looking good longer.

Try a Lint BRUSH. No need to buy those sticky refills and it generally gets any lint, dust or hair stuck to a cloth surface.
Agreed on the lint brush. 3M Scotch-Brite is what I use. It has a black plastic handle with a red lint pad that you brush directionally.

Here are several more pictures of the seats after more cleaning. Still want to work on a few small areas on each seat but am close to done. Then it is on to conditioner.

NICE work and looking great on that 3:1 dilution, are you using just an MF towel or using a soft brush as well?

Here is where I stand. Have given a first pass at cleaning one of the seats with pretty good results. Using diluted leather cleaner at about a ratio of about 3:1 with a microfiber towel. I plan to give it a second cleaning and then conditioner. I will try to get in process shots next go round as the leather really darkens when cleaning.

Rich - Thanks for the reply. I have leather cleaner and ordered leather conditioner this morning. Will try both out on the seats and then go from there. The seats are definitely very dry and need conditioning badly.

I picked up a pair of early F150 King Ranch seats for my Bronco and want to clean them and condition them. These are an aniline leather which means no topcoat like most automotive leather. I don't mind a distressed look since the Bronco is old and not perfect. I also don't want to darken them up too much if I can help it. What say you Adam's forums on caring for them?
