THE Mook
im new to the Adam's polish world. what does shr mean? Swirl and Haze Remover! I know it's tough and we speak in a lot of acronyms here...give it a week and you will be throwing out the slang too!
Ronnie_B
okay, this stuff (SHR) is INSANE. i'm so pumped i FINALLY found something to remove these water spots. My girlfriend gave me permission to buy whatever I want Adam's so long as I do it to her car haha. This was SHR with the orange 4" pad on a drill at full speed (YES it took full speed to get these things gone.) These are the hardest water spots on glass i've ever seen and I FINALLY got them out. before half and half complete In the reflection, you can see my tools of destruction!!!!!!! YES! I'm pumped. Thanks! im new to the Adam's polish world. what does shr mean?

BlueGenCoupe
When we say try SHR, is that with the 4" focus pads and a drill or the PC? You can do either or. I used the 4" pads, but on the pc you'll cover more surface area
Team Adam's
Either... I've never had to contend with spots bad enough to need more than SHR on the PC... you can even run at low speed b/c you're not really polishing, you're just 'scrubbing'

Superdutytd
Claying/Class cleaner/Vinegar barely do anything to bad waterspots. Break out the polisher/orange pad/SHR and go to town.
savi01
I've used the distilled vinegar trick before, helps to get some off, or at least make them less noticeable for the time being until you can get at them with a clay bar or such.

musclejunkie
Wow....hate to see her paint! I had water spots once on a new Camaro. Turned out it was industrial acid fallout. Ruined the paint. Only had the car for a year after that. Good luck.
MAYBEN
try the SHR..
the1inblue
I've even used SSR and a 4" yellow pad on glass to get bad spots off. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Frid
Being as stubborn as I am, if the clay worked a little, try it some more and more aggressively with some elbow grease . I had a good many waterspots on my top of my bed and I got alot of them out by claying that area more then others. If that doesnt work then try the orange pad and SHR when you get it in. Captain McFunk
Alright, tried clay. It didn't work too well, BUT it was meguire's clay; my Adam's clay will be here on Thursday, so I'll try it out then!
Bill-V8V
The clay should get it done
Team Adam's
Start with clay. If that doesn't work then do orange pad + SHR like suggested. If that doesn't work then #0000 steel wool and glass cleaner. If that doesn't work then look into having the glass replaced.
Frid
Adam's Glass Cleaner works too. I know I used it to clean the spots off my sis's car.
