Man you're too quick, we just got to our hotel here in Tampa.

Just ordered some room service for dinner, getting cleaned up after such a successful and fun show!

Will post my pics tonight.

Next year's Turkey Run let us return the favor and use my house as Turkey Run HQ for the Adams Gang!

Here are my photos:

Our setup location - we were indoors and super close to Chip Foose. He was set up in the corner of the building to the right of the purple banner all day signing autographs:

Back in Orlando safe and sound by 10:30pm last night. Trailer unloaded and here are some more photos. Big show that promises to get bigger each year. Michelle Adams was a show organizer that really knows how to make things happen. We WERE outside in impossible wind, then got a late Saturday upgrade to an inside spot right next to Chip Foose. That man is a machine. He signed autographs straight from 10am to 4pm...no breaks, no meals, no crying. :2thumbs:

HUGE thanks to Jae, Somer, Scott, Becky and Holley. Amazing to me how well perfect strangers can come together over a single passion and quickly become good friends.

Spreading the "Adam's" word is easy when you can the results happen first hand.

Happy to share, but please please, no one ask about the black Ferrari Testarossa. :willy:

Hi all! This is Becky, Scott's wife. Just wanted to come online to say what an incredible day we had yesterday.

We loved hanging out with Mike, Holley and Jae again - all super-cool people and we had a ton of laughs all around. I'm not sure who's the biggest comedian, Scott or Jae the Gongman. You make-o-big-o-joke-o! Laughy Laughy!

Also got to meet & work with Jae's girlfriend Somer and she is the ultimate detailer's girlfriend. She carries a mini-bottle of detail spray in her purse to clean her iPhone and PC monitor. Holly and I are going to follow her lead and do the same. We had a good view of the band from the Adam's booth and Somer and I nearly fell on the floor over the man singing "Who Wears Short Shorts" in a very depressed monotone. You had to be there.

It wasn't all laughs though - don't worry, we behaved ourselves professionally! At the booth, we sold LOTS of Adam's stuff and met a ton of new Adam's friends & car enthusiasts. I'm getting better with my product knowledge and soon I'll be ready to use the flex, LOL. Since this show was relatively local for us, Scott & I will meet up with some folks for cruising and Scott will be heading to a few guys houses soon to show them how to use what they bought.

We had one of Backdraft's cobras at the booth to demo again - it's so nice of them to let us use their cars. It works out great because we get a hot demo car that draws people and when they are seriously looking at the car we send them over to Backdraft's booth...and they get a perfectly swirl and scratch free shiny car back!!

The Adam's booth was inside the convention center about 20 yards from where Chip Foose was stationed signing autographs. He never left the table between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM - he didn't even eat or use the restroom! The line to meet him was really long so we weren't able to do so. I took a pic of him with a random dude though:

Becky1.jpg

At the booth, I got to talking with an Adam's customer named Don Jones. He's a huge Chip Foose fan and waited in line for 3 hours to meet Chip. When he finally got to meet Chip he bowed to him and said, "I'm not worthy!" He showed Chip a photo of his truck and Chip quickly drew the truck and signed Don's t-shirt. It took Chip all of 2 minutes to draw the truck. Very cool! Some pics:

Anyway, just wanted to share what a great day we had spreading the word on Adam's. It's always a good time with good people. Looking forward to seeing the Daytona & Orlando crew again sometime soon!

-Becky

PS - Adam, Lynn, Billy & Mike Hill - we missed you guys this time! :-)

Summer and I nearly fell on the floor over the man singing "Who Wears Short Shorts" in a very depressed monotone.

Now I know why Somer pretty much fell to the floor laughing today in the middle of Macy's when she got your text.

"ohhh, you drive so faust, in you big amellican cahh"

...please please, no one ask about the black Ferrari Testarossa. :willy:

OK SO HERE'S THE STORY ON THIS DAMN TESTAROSSA haha...you knew I was gonna go there.

So there we were, surrounded by all these really unique and beautiful cars, and right in front, about two cars back, on victory lane's red carpet, is this black Ferrari Testarossa.

Now anyone who was a kid back in the 80's knows that this car and the Lamborghini Countach were the two cars to drool over back in the day. You'd be hard pressed to find a teenage boy back in those days who didn't have at least one of these cars up on his bedroom wall as a poster. After all, this was Don Johnson's Miami Vice car, except in black.

Mike comes up to me about halfway through the show and asks, "have you seen the paint on that thing yet?"

I said, "no, why?"

"Come here" he said.

I followed him over and from about 20 feet away I could already see that the paintjob looked like a giant spider's doodle board. Talk about messed up. Upon looking through the windshield I could see that the dashboard vinyl was all ripped up and coming apart at the seams, it was dirty from hand oils, and there were random papers in the back behind the seats, as well as spare change lying all over the center console and in the cup holders. The entire car was covered with dust to the point that it could have easily passed as a barn find.

So Scott, Mike and I were all standing around it in disbelief. Who would own a Ferrari like this, enter it in a show when it has been neglected and looks as horrible as it did?

From then on, it was my mission to find the owner of this "Ferrari" and punch him in the face. I wanted to walk up to him when he came at the end of the show to drive his car out of the arena and yell, "Hey! You! What's that swirled up mess you call a car doing here?" But alas, he never showed up before we got all packed up.

We all joked that he's probably the only Ferrari owner that was embarrassed about his car. Think about it - if you owned a Ferrari you'd be telling people, "yeah, that's MY car!" This guy probably wanted to wait till everyone left so nobody would see him.

What a shame, and what a salivating opportunity - just think if the owner was willing to sell that thing for a super low price due to its condition - oh the things we could do to the paint to bring that car back... All flat panels, no modern curves. Gloss black. Can you say buffing party? Spend a week on that thing and take some pics to email the original owner to let him know what he was missing.

Anyone took a pic of that car by chance? You'd see what I mean.

EDIT

OH YEAH AND THE WHEELS WERE BROWN

It took all our combined self control to prevent us from running over there with a tire sponge soaked in SuperVRT.
