DETAILED: Hood Liner Audi RS4

Question

I'm in the middle of a mini-full detail, so I'm taking a few hours each night to detail the few things on my RS that are less than perfect, and have been buggin me. Tonights detail, the hood liner and paint under the hood.

 

The Music:

 

Beach Boys

Wu

Sam Cooke

Metallica

Finished up with Niki F.Rihanna....Fly

 

The Beverage:

The process:

 

1. Mist with Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner (3 Min Dwell)

2. Work with Boars Hair Brush

3. Steam to Loosen Up Dirt/Grime

4. Mist With Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner (3 Min Dwell)

5. Work with Boars Hair Brush

6. Steam to Loosen Up Dirt/Grime

7. Extract Liner with Little Green Pro Heat (Auto Version)

8. Mist with Carpte and Upholstery Cleaner

9. Wipe with Damp Wally World MF (x3)

10.Wipe Paint Surrounds with 50/50 APC

11. Wipe with Damp Wally World MF

12. Revive/Flip Combo

13. Buff with Single Soft

14. Apply Quick Sealant

15. Buff With Single Soft

16. Stand Back and Admire, :2thumbs:

Next Block of free time I get, it's on to the engine bay. That will get a good APC wipdown, steaming, lube linkages and dress with In and Out, SVRT and whatever else I can find!

how do you like that wagner steamer? good for the money or put that money into a better one?

 

And please excuse me as i get a towel to wipe the drool up, that engine errr i mean engine bay are gorgeous! I LOVE Audis RS engine covers

nice work! steamers do come in handy thats for sure, i gotta grab another one soon cause mine is acting up. That RS4 is amazing man, there is a yellow one up here in Michigan at a cars and coffee and i drool over it every time (not on it of course :D haha). Saw the RS6 here at the auto show and I found my next car :D haha I wish.

Hey, thanks bro for the kind words. They are a work of art aren't they, haha.

 

The steamer is a Wagner from Amazon. Works great. Very versatile machine around the house and car. Door panels, engine bays, carpets even glass if you want. Its a great addition to any detailers arsenal.
