1963 Chevy Corvette Stingray Detail

I started off the long Labor Day weekend with the honor of detailing a sexy Daytona Blue 1963 Corvette. The car was purchased by my client at Carlisle about 5 years ago.

After first inspection of the car a few months back at a local car show I found some holograms/swirls in the paint. I’ve been anxious on tackling this one for a while knowing how great it will look after I was completed with everything. After the first pass of Swirl & Haze Remover some imperfections remained in the paint. So I proceeded with another pass before moving on to Fine Machine Polish.

This was my first time unleashing the Blue 4” Focus Pads with a cordless drill, and I loved it. I attacked the trim along the front windshield with ease similar to what Adam did on the instructional videos. Although I was really wishing I had some of those secret metal polishing hex grip applicators I’ve seen the warehouse guys testing to hit some other parts with though. :D

The interior just needed a little loving to touch it back up. Lots of Revive, Brilliant Glaze, Leather & Interior Cleaner, and Leather Conditioner were used. The toughest part was climbing into the rear to clean the glass and panels, but I was able to get it all. Later that night at the car show I was showing my wife that area I was stuffed into and she got a good chuckle picturing me in there, LOL.

After the car was completed the owner was just floored with excitement. He is always amazed how I am able to take a fairly clean car to a whole other level of shine when I am done. That achievement is because of Adam’s Polishes! :patriot: That night at the cruise night they car just looked stunning under the lights.

Unfortunately no I do not. Just in and out of the garage. I'm not there to get that out of it. Just cleaning them is such an honor for me.

I got a ride in the ZR1 which was a crazy and amazing experience. Sometimes my client will bring multiple cars to a local show. If that happens again soon I may get to help drive them there. Fingers crossed!
