Sandalwood
I was lucky enough to be apart of the testing stages Adam's prototype 46x27 inch microfiber towel you all have seen them working on recently.I went ahead and made a video for you guys to check it out in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds79ggLoStY&feature=youtu.be To give a size comparison, it is the same width as the Great White Drying towel, but about a 7 inches longer.Disclaimer: I did not boil it or anything like some of you hardcore detailers... This was straight out of the bag.If you guys have any questions, leave a comment and I'll try to answer as best I can!It was really exciting for the opportunity to be one of the first to try it out! Hopefully no hard feelings guys Feets31 and MAYBEN

JHL88
Soo this microfiber towel would be ideal for DS wipedowns, Rinseless washes, & waterless washes? I ask this bc IME some microfibers aren't made for these kind of jobs & I have experienced shedding & a lot of grab when wiping down.

Holder
If anything this will go great on the fender while working under the hood. It looks like a lot of towel to handle for a wipe down. Team Adam's, THE Mook, Rich and 2 others

Probably a question better suited for Dylan, but I thought it handled the detail spray wipe down great. I would use a waffle weave towel for the waterless water/cleaning any light dust for the reasons you stated. I noticed a little shedding, but nothing more than the others before I machined washed them. If anything this will go great on the fender while working under the hood. It looks like a lot of towel to handle for a wipe down. I thought it would be a lot to handle as well, but I worked with it and found a routine that works for me. I think it's worth getting used to. txab
It can be my new bath towel. Afterall, I already hose myself down with detail spray when I step out of the shower Edited July 17, 2013 by txab THE Mook

camaro2ssblack
Im confused, it's meant to be a drying towel right? Ive never seen anyone use a towel that big for a wipedown, talk about cumbersome in your hands. You are also using way too much detail spray which probably explains your streaking problem and having to use 4 towels for a single detail spray wipedown. It should take two towels max for a Camaro. Big plush towels are great for a drying towel though. Rich and BKazzle
IrishCurse
Agreed Chase. Once I got squared away, I use one double soft for a final inspection/wipe down.
Rich
Like everything else, I don't say yes or no until I've tried it. Right now in my head, I'm thinking it's way to big........BUT that's because it's not the size I'm used to or accustomed to. I may really like it once I try it. I'll just have to wait and see. Just what is the real reason for having such a big cumberson towel anyhow? To save time? To not have to change towels so often? I'm trying to find an up side to this. That is not how I normally spray detail spray to do a wipe-down, which is why I purposely state "there is no question the panel is fully saturated with detail spray." The video was simply to show that I was impressed at its ability to absorb all the left over water after a car wash, go on to do a full detail wipe-down, and make it through a video showing how it can soak up a fully saturated panel of detail spray without leaving streaks. The video was to show it's ability to absorb excess product.. in an attempt to let your mind run free with how it could be ideal for you. IrishCurse
I could see it as an all-in-one removal towel. It's so big you could fold it in eighths, and use each side per product to be removed. This depends on the fiber density/plushness of the towel. I can't recall if that was, or has been discussed to this point.
