Chris@Adams
Saturday morning in the garage with the Flex! Rich, Thorsager and BRZN
Reichler
Adam no longer has a lifetime warranty on the Flex, so my guess is failure rate doesn't matter too much now. However, my guess is the rate was too high to warranty forever, but low enough to offer the product again. Adam wouldn't sell us a crap product. Huh? Unless there was an announcement somewhere that I never heard/saw, he sure does if you bought it from him back when he sold them.

LFairbanks
Not a big deal to me, as I chose to buy my tools from him to support the business, as he treats his customers well. Parts are easy to find and the tools are fairly simple to repair anyhow, IMHO. Rich

zxgto06
364$ for the flex and bag is a great deal! I think I paid 379 or 399 for my flex without the bag two years ago.
OUT2WIN
Take the 15% off for Black Friday, and your polisher and bag combo is $364.45! Yea I got that, I guess I was reffering to the part where you stated that the first 25 orders get a free bag and the website shows that the bag is part of the kit for $429. I'm gonna place the order soon as I get my list together. Read Adam's reply. I doubt you'll beat that deal anywhere!! Many different places are selling it well below that. I should of bought it while at SEMA for a big discount. I will pay a little more though since I buy everything else from Adam's due to his unmatched customer service
Doug123
Glad to see it's back, as it is my favorite polisher, and it is well made and easier on the hands than my PC. They both will lay out a great shine if used properly, the Flex just gets it done faster.
BRZN
Good explaination on pricing by Adam in the other FLEX release thread: Sorry guys, here is the deal: The minimum advertised price (MAP) on a Flex Polisher is $360.95. The Flex bags retail at $49.95 We are launching the Flex again, by popular demand, and clearly, want to move some units! We cannot advertise them below MAP, or we put ourselves in jeopardy. So, the Flex XC3401 and the Flex Bag have a retail value of about $410. With the 10% off Forum discount, the combo will be available at $369.81. However, for the Black Friday promo, the total will be $348.46, shipped free. Just checked over at the competition, and their Flex Polisher sells for $359.95, and includes a Detailing DVD, but no Flex Bag. Their promotions that are currently running exclude power tools, and do not include free shipping. This combo would cost $30ish to ship from there. So, at $349ish for a Flex with Bag, are we a deal? Seems a number of people have thought it fair, and have taken us up on it thus far! Stay tuned, and thanks for keeping us transparent! Happy Thanksgiving,
Gary Parham
Friends, you have made it clear, and there is no confusion on your feedback. You want another option for polishing, and we are responding to your request. We looked at the options, and considered the following: Effectiveness/ correcting ability Country of origin Ease of use Durability/ fail rate In addition to the unit made in the USA, the Cyclo, the choice was simple. When it came to fail rate, durability, and effectiveness, the Flex XC 3401 D/A Polisher was the unit to choose. The company has Chinese investors, which scared me silly, but the parts and manufacturing are 100% German, and the Germans do a first class job at making an exceptional tool. The second option would have been the Rupes, however, the fail rate on the unit is much higher than the others. From what we understand, some or much of the parts come from, 'The Orient." I'd love to have a polisher in the sub-$200 level, however without going to China, that's unrealistic. Stay tuned, maybe one day, that option will be available! Welcome back Flex, and we never stopped selling the pads. Hint: on any clear coat finishes, two pads will do the trick: Orange Microfiber, and White Foam.....Paint Correcting, Paint Finishing Polishes. Thanks and your feedback, as always, is anticipated. Note: The first 25 Flex Polishers we sell will include a $50 Flex Carry Bag, FREE! No more I have all three . LOL
