1FAST SS
Washed the truck today and have terrible water spots on all the glass. I used the new Adam's shampoo for the wash. I used Adam's Glass cleaner once the sun went down to attempt to get the spots out, but no luck. Any suggestions?
0 Ricky Bobby
You might need a mild acid to neutralize them. Try distilled white vinegar. Some have even used lemon juice You can try claying the glass as well it should help. Try that first. 0 Mooser
I Agree Try claying the glass. Since you say you waited till the sun went down to use the glass cleaner I'm guessing it was sunny when you washed, how's the water in your area? almost sounds like mineral deposits dried/bakes on the glass. M The water isn't great here. It was sunny, but not hot. I'll try the clay.
0 Chris@Adams
Clay first and then you will probably have to Machine Polish them out.... Orange pad and PCP. Adam and I had to polish some water spots on the back glass of a C7 the other day.....came out great. If you don't have a machine try the 4" Focus pads on your drill. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/adam-s-paint-correcting-polish.html http://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/buffing-pads-applicators/adam-s-4-orange-gen5-foam-pad-2-pack.html http://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/buffing-pads-applicators/adam-s-4-cordless-drill-backing-plate.html

0 Odds and Ends
Clay should do the trick but if not, #0000 steel wool with Glass Cleaner as a lubricant.
0 oski83
In a similar way, I've noticed hard water spots on the inside (or under) the rain guards or as dealership calls them window deflectors. Being that its a plastic and smoked or semi-transparent, what is the least damaging method to remove those spots? Tried distilled water, then QD, but nothing. Was going to try Revive on MF towel. Any suggestions?
0 Odds and Ends
Revive on a towel might very well be the ticket. If not, mix a couple of drops of PFP in with it to give it a little extra bite. Revive is non-abrasive. oski83
