You might not of removed all the extra during the drying step. If I over apply a panel sometimes I will have to make multiple passes to buff down the streaks. Try using a spray or so less. I only spray once on a window on a full size truck and it works great, 2 sprays per doir, 3 sprays for the bedside. I think you get I'm saying try less product more is not always better. It's awesome sauce in a bottle keep playing with it. I had to find a method that worked for me, we all do things differently

I had this problem the first time I used H2O G&G.  It happens when too much product is applied.  It really doesn't take a lot of product especially once your wet application towel has a fair amount of residual product in it from previous panels.

If your glass already has Glass Sealant on it, the HGG will streak on it. Don't use HGG over Glass Sealant.

If your going to use HGG on glass, it's always a good idea to clay the glass first if it hasn't been done in a few months, check it with a baggie, just like the paint.

I actually like to use 2 damp towels with the wet HGG application. Mist the section being worked, then wring out one of the towels from the bucket, this gives the HGG time to activate with the water. If the outside temperature is such that the water on the car is drying fast, put some distilled water in a spray bottle.

Mist water prior to misting HGG

The HGG needs water to work effectively and spread evenly. After you finish the section/panel, switch the wet towel out, to the unused one, leaving the used one in the bucket. Repeat process on each section/panel. This prevents the wet towel from getting clogged with too much product, making it spread less effective and evenly.

If your not doing it already, be sure and use the HGG on all the black plastic trim as well, it makes it look fantastic, provides excellent UV protection, as well as limiting dust/dirt build up on it, making future washes easier and safer on your paint.

If the HGG has cured on your glass, APC will remove it. A 50/50 dilution with distilled water is plenty strong enough, no need to use full strength.

G&G is my favorite Adam's product. I use it way more than I am suppose to, but I don't care. I love it! If you are streaking it, you are probably using too many sprays per wipe area, and or are not wiping it off good enough with a nice microfiber dry towel (after applying with damp towel). A little bit goes a long way, especially after the damp application towel has gone over a few sprayed panels.

Yes I agree fellas if you use too much you could see streaking. I have rarely seen that happen, but I got to the point I was using it every wash. I think I got a little too happy with it too!

Joe,

I have not noticed any streaking from applying H2O on my windshield that's treated with GS. Seems like it just adds to or replenishes the hydrophobic properties of the sealant.

Same here. I apply over GS with no issues.
