Water Spots on Glass

moons21

Question

My 2011 Avalanche has some nasty water spots on the back removable window. I tried to use a water and vinegar mix to no avails. Wondering if clay bar and correction polish would be my best option. What has others used to get rid of those pesky spots?

Try clay first.....it's easier since it doesn't involve a trip to the store to buy the steel wool.   :)

If that doesn't work, use #0000 steel wool with glass cleaner as lube.  You shouldn't have to use a tremendous amount of pressure.  Wipe it clean the a glass towel, then clean the glass as normal with more glass cleaner and a fresh towel.    Use the Glass Sealant to help prevent future water spotting.

Success!!!  Clay bar, correction polish, finishing polish and 99% spot free!  Didn't want to try the steel wool.. not that confident yet.  Sealed up the glass after with a product I already had, might try the Adam's glass sealer when I run out.  Thanks for all the advice everyone.

Great!
