0 pirahnah3
Not as a wash mit but I have used the clay bar alternative before and have had good results with it. bosco1
0 GXPaycheck
Yup. Clay works better. bosco1
0 Sizzle Chest
I've used both the wash mitt, alternative bar, and of course, clay. Benefits of alternative style: If you drop it, you just need to rinse it off and continue using it. The mitts are a little 'faster', you can cover more area with it. Clay: still the benchmark IMO. I still find myself going back to clay for some jobs. It sometimes just seems to 'work' better, also I have multiple types-heavy, medium, fine, to choose from. Whatever you use, it's a critical step to a fantastic finish and excellent results! Hope this helps! 0 bosco1
Definitely seems it would speed up the process abit...Plus should factor in number of times it can be used compared to clay...
0 falcaineer
Dan it must be hard to focus on the track while admiring all of the refection in your hood!!! I bet he doesn't even have his lights on. The car just reflects the stadium lights as he rounds the track... Given your list of cars, Dan, how about some pics? bosco1
0 jeverton
I agree with Scott on using all mediums. I've found the alternative clay bars to work great during a wash... keeping the car lubricated speeds up the process. Of course traditional claying achieves the best results. bosco1

0 kesmit
I use both. I like the feel of clay alternatives, but I think that Adam's clay does a good job with less marring. bosco1
0 SumBeach35
My feeling is if I need to polish a car, I'll use clay alternatives, due to their tendency to mar the paint. if I dont need to polish I'll use regular clay Edited December 29, 2016 by SumBeach35 kesmit and bosco1
