Chevydude
Is it just me or is the correcting polish a b.h to remove? What is the easiest way to remove it?
0 BrianT
You are probably using too much, the more you use the harder it is to get off. Less is more! ocdrifter
0 shane@detailedreflections
I agree with Brian. If you have stubborn polish, a little detail spray will help get it off too.
0 blcksilv08
Echoing what was already said, more polish than needed can be difficult to remove, try a bit less. If you are going to use Cinishing polish, most of the time I use it right over the top of Correcting without wiping it off. If you do need to remove Correcting polish though, a shot of Detail spray or Brilliant Glaze will make it easier.
0 ocdrifter
I’m concurring what was already said, to much product is just a waste of time money and effort. To take it off use a spray wax or some detail spray for a easier removal.
0 Wy_detailing
I had an issue with not polishing with correcting polish for long enough. It has a deminishing abrasive in it to break down as you polish, the more you polish, the more it shines. If you polish to quickly there is a buildup of the polish on the panel, so be sure to work the panel to break down those deminishing abbrassives. It makes the residue easier to remove and the paint look even better!

If your down in the southern states, humidity is a big factor as well. I know even up north when its humid its a pain to get off if to much is used. Finishing polish (white) does not seem to have the same effect though.
0 Dan@Adams
Hi Chevydude, just curious how old is your bottle of Correcting Polish? The older formula was more difficult to work with, and as mentioned above, using one light mist of Detail Spray would help considerably in making it easier to wipe away the residue. The newest formula update to our Correcting Polish back in November 2016 made it much easier to wipe away now. To tell if you have this version, it's a slightly darker shade of orange and has an orange/mango fruit type of scent to it.
0 Ls1transam
Maybe he has the old like Dan has said. That stuff was terrible when it came to removing at times IMO. This new formula is leaps and bounds better. I really like the new formula.

New or old formula try applying BG over the polish residue, then wipe them both off with one pass. I do this all the time and it works great!
