I used to put stickers on my hard hat and welding shield back in the day.  Way to represent!

Just prior to my retirement I was working fro TransCanada. The Safety Manager  told me to read the instructions that come with every hardhat. When I did, I was surprised to see it actually states not to apply stickers to the hardhat. Unfortunately no one informed the company because they provided a sticker for every worksite to show you had been trained for that specific site. 

 

But they do look cool.
