Rich Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Prayers please. A good friend's wife was just diagnosed with a brain aneurism. They will be taking her to Pittsburgh later for surgery. Right now, she can't form sentences or see from one eye. She's only 50 and a mother, wife, and grandma. Hope you'll all say a prayer for her. Her name is Patty. She had to go through some physical therapy after the surgery to get her going again. She is totally fine now and you wouldnt even know it happened. I hope your friend Patty will be fine and back to her normal routine in no time. I will say a prayer for her and all the AF family members. But on a good note...I bonded with my 76 yr old dad today at the casino and I brought home an extra $185. Downtown Detroit was alive and happening. Ford Field is 2 blocks from the casino we were at. For those of you who read about my brother getting crashed into yesterday, can you believe that the kid in the other car got off without so much as a citation?! I dont get it! The cop said that since the accident was on private property, there was nothing he could cite the kid for. Does that make sense to anyone? It sure doesnt make an ounce of sense to me! In all reality, Im just happy that my bro (and the kid) walked away without a scratch. But I just dont understand how the kid wasnt nailed with the biggest ticket of his life... Well after an 18 hour day at my miserable job yesterday I get to work yet again another Saturday for a few hours. Then it's on to grouting my new backsplash, cleaning out the interiors of both my and my wife's vehicles, taking a nap, firing down a few Newcastles, and going out to dinner. I need a new job!. I wish I had a set of F1's for it. It's a fun car. The Goodyears, some Bilstien sport shocks and chipped turbo motor give it a nice little bump over stock A4s. And quattro really is an amazing thing... the car can pull away from a stoplight or out of a corner like nobody's business.
