crazyfingers
Fairly new here, looking to apply Graphene to my 2021 C8 before I put her away for the Chicago winter. Is there an optimal temp/ humidity range for application? mc2hill and RayS

0 falcaineer
50°F+, and lowest humidity as possible are ideal. For reference, we applied the Professional Grade Graphene Ceramic Coating during the Shine Academy class this past weekend in 62°F and 21% humidity and it worked perfectly. Lower temperature and humidity allows the coatings to take longer to flash and ultimately be easier to work with.
0 Trap
I have only done it once, but when I did the temps we're in low to mid 60's. Humidity was low. Found it very easy to work with. Watch the videos and just make sure it doesn't cure to long. Took me about 4 hours to coat the car after it was prepped. Make sure you prep it properly, was the main advice I was given. I used the Advanced Graphene Coating. Do have a little car envy on that one. Edited October 26, 2021 by Trap

Temps this weekend should be low-mid 50’s, but humidity might be a little high. Rich
