CJ_DK
I did have some old kinda action pics... Here I am making a complete fiberglass interior in the old MR2 Under construction. I had a bet running that I could break the unofficial world record of the largest stereo in a MR2 AW11. Unfortunately someone breaks my car before I made it to the competition. CJ_DK
19... Uhh thats many years ago. This winther I am making a much better stereo in the green MR2. It is not the music which make me deaf, but the enginenoise which reach about 95dB at full acc. The exhaust is just 107dB - wonder why people always hear me before they see me. But is an old car, so its legal to make so much noise.
70'sChevyGirl
This picture is very special to me. It was taken in the Spring of 2003 right after my mother had her kidney replaced and I had a major surgery to remove blood clots from my aorta. I was 40 at the time. My Mother ended up getting really sick Xmas eve of 2005 and was rushed to the hospital and she ended up dying Jan. 2006 and my Father has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer and its starting to get rough. I love them both so much and I truly miss my Mom. Cherish the time you have with friends and loved ones.

I bought the car from him when I was in college and have put TONS of time and money into it. I'm actually just finishing a total rework of the car, with new paint, coilover suspension, etc. The car was cherry to begin with - now it is insane! Suede dash, turbocharged/built 4AGE, just silly. I did 8" Boston Pros in sealed cabinets behind the seats. Run with 1100 watts: Off to the paint shop (BEFORE paint)
Junkman2008
My best friend had a red MR2 just like yours back in the 80's. Man, he loved that car. He ended up trading it in for the newer style MR2 when they came out.

CJ_DK
Holy smokes - another AW11 fan! I have an '85 hardtop (no sunroof) that my Dad bought new. I bought the car from him when I was in college and have put TONS of time and money into it. I'm actually just finishing a total rework of the car, with new paint, coilover suspension, etc. The car was cherry to begin with - now it is insane! Suede dash, turbocharged/built 4AGE, just silly. I truly knows how expensive it is to restore the old AW11 - Ive done it 3 times! And I'll never do it again. With the 2 first AW11's I just picked up good "donors" in Germany with no rust or anything, but there is NO MORE AW11 in Germany in good condition. So in 2006 when I restored the '86 targa I got now I have to find a car in Malaysia and shipped home. And then make the N/A targa legale with the SuperCharger engine. And thats a lots of paperwork and tests in Denmark. I have used more money on those cars than you ever can imagine, but now when its up running with 200hp/250Nm and everyone are turning there heads after me on the streets - its totally worth it. Next time I'll restore a car I think I would take a '69 Mustang

CJ_DK
No because MR2 is the overall name, AW11 is the model. MR2: 1985-1989 AW10 (1.5 liters Tercel engine) AW11 (1.6 4A-GE engine) AW15 (1.6 4A-GE engine, US model) AW16 (1.6 4A-GZE SuperCharger) And then there 15 different models with different interiour and equipment 1990-1999 SW20 (2.0 Gti) SW21 (2.2 US model) SW22 (2.0 Turbo, 1.gen) SW23 (2.0 Turbo, 2.gen) 2000-2004 (I think the latest is a 04) ZZW35 (1.8 VVT-i engine)
