Ok guys, I'll be there Saturday. But where is the Adam's location, near the red building, etc.?

My wife has given me lots of cash to update my inventory!

Thanks. Doug

You can't miss it.  It's in the middle of the midway. Just look for the big inflated bottle  ................................and the booth with the most people around it!

I'm ready!

Arrived at Carlisle today (a day early) and already saw guys walking around with bags from Adam's.  Saw Dave and Chris and Deb.  Everything is set up and looking great. They're ready for the onslaught coming this weekend.

That red one was parked behind me, then he moved it up next to the NCRS tent. I'm glad he did.  Blaring music, flashing lights, annoying. But he's a nice guy and the car attracts a lot of attention.  We toured the Miller collection on Friday. I'll post up pics once I get them uploaded.  We're back home, left at 3 today because of the heat, but we're already looking forward to next year.  Great to see old friends and meet a lot of you guys who were there and stopped by the car.  :2thumbs:

Here ya go.  We had a chance to view the Miller car collection.  What a great collection he has now, and had previously sold off 25 of his dad's cars.  But what he kept were the cream of the crop. There are 9 lifts in the one garage alone, so some of the pics aren't the best, but I tried. This first batch is from the smaller garage.

An all ORIGINAL 63 Cobra.  I can't count as high as this thing alone is worth.

There's another car under the Ferrari, but I missed getting a pic of it.  It is a VW GTI with a Callaway engine.  Ugly as sin, but goes like crazy!

And a collection of bicycles.

The second, larger garage with the 9 lifts held some amazing rides as well.  Starts off with his world famous Number 3 LeMan's racecar that his dad found and restored.  After Chip Miller's death, Lance took it upon himself to take the restored car back to LeMans with driver John Fitch who was 91 at this time.  Beautiful car and tribute to his dad. There was a movie made about it called The Quest.  Worth the watch if you get a chance. Here are some (not all) of the cars we got to see. What a treat for sure.

Anyhow, he has an outstanding collection of vehicles including the ONLY Corvette ever raced by Dale Earnhardt Sr. AND Junior.  What a rush.

The Purple People Eater that was auctioned (but not sold) at Barrett Jackson in January. $1,000,000 couldn't buy it.
