Wife got me this last Christmas and has worked great, on the other side is a big drawer where I keep buffing pads and applicators.

After a wash and wax with Patriot.  I hate when it rains after I spend quality time with my car.

When I did mine, I did liquid paint sealant, than brilliant glaze, than americana.  Few weeks later when I washed it, I used the h2o.  Ended up being a great combo and look for weeks.

This is what I kept doing. Had a good seal to begin with and only used Adams products. Used a foam gun or pressure washer if I had bad dirt to get it off before the two bucket wash. In the three years I had my first truck I only corrected paint twice and did not really have much to correct. used Buttery and once used Americana. Below shows what my three year old Daily Driver (never in a garage) truck looked like the week I traded it in (top picture) on my new Black GMC.(second picture with black bumpers) Don't let anyone tell you that you can't keep a good looking black daily driver.

Had to pull it out of the garage this morning so I could get new garage doors installed.. Hadn't been washed in 3+ years. So i figured I would clean it up a little. Is it bad that I have plates on it from 2010?? I have paid for them every year just havent driven it more than a few miles since.

Well, I received my first package from Adams, and am excited!  I have a Black Shelby GT500 with red stripes, and I've used other store brand polishes and waxes, but it was always a struggle to wash and wax the car, in fact, I hated it.  Turtle Wax, Meguiars, Eagle One, swirl removers, yadda yadda yadda.  It was a pain.  Some wax went on easy, but was a pain to take off.  Some left a shine, and others not so well.  And almost all of them left a greasy layer, that was a pain in the you know what to get off.  Either way, I was always left with a not so shiny car.

So today, I do a test run on the left side of my hood to see how the product works, and looks afterwords.  We all know black is the hardest to get looking good, and trust me it's a pain when you have not so good products to work with.  Yes, you can get by, but I want show quality as much as possible.

    Here's the before

So, here's what I did.  Wash, clay bar, Paint Correcting Polish, Revivor Hand Polish, Brilliant Glaze, than Americana.  And here's the finished product.  I must say I am impressed!

I will say this, it may seem that I did a lot of steps, but they were effortless!  No struggle with getting wax off, or a greasy film left behind.  The end result looks great even though I sped through it because I was like a kid in a candy store.  Now the 3-4 hours I spend on pampering the car will be well worth it knowing that the result is gonna be fantastic!

    Thanks Adams!
