rkj4243
Darryl, please do take photos. It will really allow the owner and forum members to see the amazing transformation, and good luck with the correction. Takes time, but in the end the results make it all worthwhile! Odds and Ends
This is pretty standard fare for me...... It's done, but I haven't had it outside yet. It's still buried in my work corner. Here are a couple of quick shots from earlier this morning that I sent to the owner. Kourtney@Adams, 2500HHP, LFairbanks and 1 other
Odds and Ends
And, to keep this thread going, here are some quick shots of the 87 911 outside in the sun today as the owner dropped it off. The paw prints are my favorite.....

Odds and Ends
Those holograms are amaaazing! LOL....Thanks! It's taken me a long time to get them just right....
Odds and Ends
And the '87 911 begins......I'll do all the tight spots with the small machine/pad first. I think the swirls and scratches are worse with halogens than they were in the direct sun! wely324
2500HHP
Looks great Darryl, how are you attacking these things?
Odds and Ends
Because I'm so skinny, I can hide behind the lift post and sneak up on it! No , seriously, nuthin' fancy......just old school labor and patience. Flex for the bulk of it and PC7424 with 4" pads for tight spots. On the older 911 bodies, there are quite a few areas that need done by hand too. I don't like to break out the Makita rotary on single stage paint......too easy to take paint off edges and contour lines! 2500HHP
2500HHP
hahahaha! Turning out nicely either way!

marquez93
Amazing! I'm hoping I can do the same with my Dad's black '99 Mustang Cobra convertible with the Rupes 15. I'm putting that project off until spring though.
