I love Adam's products and will continue to support them, I do not use ALL of Adam's products however. I use what I want to use and have the luxury of doing so. Not every product will be for everybody. Any company that is not changing will be left behind and we see this with so many industries. I for one applaud Adam's for the attempt and execution of attempting to relate to the younger generations and bringing in fresh ideas. I feel Adam's still has an excellent platform for the base car care experience, Car Shampoo, paint correction liquids, and waxes/protectants. The company is so much more than that product wise, but you get the jest of it. Anybody can still wash and detail their car with the same Adam's products we have always known and loved. Not buying a product due to the origin is a whole different topic, but Adam's gives us all the luxury of buying American and by gosh when given the option I am going to continue to do so! I think the major decision is, do you want to wash your ride with an Adam's shirt and socks on or not? I'm not making light of the fact that they are venturing into new markets, but YOU are allowed to do as you like and make the decision to stick to the basics of what you like with Adam's. You do not have to jump ship because they are selling non American made pressure washers, just don't buy into what you don't want. Its your dollar to spend, and its hard earned at that! I think anybody would be hard pressed to find products that compare to Adam's. I have found a few, but again, these are from American made companies. Point being, its your dollar to spend, so do so wisely and buy American made when you can.

6.5” of the cursed white stuff yesterday. The only positive yesterday was that after two decades plus of 6 day work weeks I now get both weekend days off. My 10 year old twins and I cleared our driveway and sidewalks then went next door and helped the neighbor clean hers. After that they played in the snow for a couple of hours. When I brought them in I made them hot cocoa and PBJs for lunch.
My SS is manky but with rain and snow in the forecast it’s going to stay that way until we get a forecast of a few nice days in a row. Still, as dirty as it is, my ride is usually the “cleanest” wherever I go.

Teaching my nephew some stuff. He bought a Adams Swirl killer. I was impressed with it too. He’s new to polishing and detailing in general. But he became obsessed with it pretty quick. Here is a section he polished.

The paint is beyond trashed. He used another brand pad and polish to cut. Finished with Adams finishing polish on another brands pad as well.

I always do this when the temp drops. Compressor works wonders. It’s especially fun when someone is standing by the other end of the hose 😱

I saw this the other day, someone suggested using a sidekick blaster if you own one to clear the water out of the hose after use, however any source of air would work. I ran into freezing hose issues as well.

I will add what I can. The below tire/wheel is brand new. This is with 2 coats of tire armor. It is more of a matte appearance and I did two rounds of tire n rubber cleaner with a tire brush. I am pleased with the appearance as I don’t like them super shiny.

Applied Tire Armor today. Took about an hour all toll, from getting all the tools, etc. ready to cleanup. First things first since we usually love them...the smell will likely not be one of your favorites. Smells like household paint. But the application was pretty straightforward. Longest, "most difficult" part was cleaning the tires thoroughly, but that wasn't too bad. Took 3-4 passes with TRC to get completely white foam. I also cleaned the wheels and fenders so that added some of the time mentioned earlier.

I only applied one coat, which left a satin/VRT-like finish. The directions said another coat could be applied after 10-15 minutes to give added gloss, which I assume is more Tire Shine-like. But this was my first try so wanted to see how one coat does for look and durability. They look pretty good (though I like them shinier), and the durability is TBD. I'll update this post over the next few weeks. But after driving once on a dirt road, no dust stuck to them.

    Some lessons learned:
    - I first tried a grey MF pad, but the results were lacking. Then I followed the directions on the bottle and switched to a grey foam tire block. MUCH better.
    - Directions say to use "4-5 sprays into tread block and covering the majority of the surface area." I think that's somewhat misleading. I needed quite a few more all around the tire to get even coverage.
    - Some got ontol the rims while I was spreading it. Not sure what effect it might have, but it's not really noticeable.

    Now for pictures...

    Before

    During...white foam = clean tires

Dried, clean tires to work with

    After...
