Looking sharp! Keep it up. The H2O Does really add shine too and if you haven't driven in the rain yet with it, I'm going to tell you it's amazing how water just falls off your car.

It did look like he poured a lot onto the glass, but afterwards it didn't appear that much was really used in the bottle.  I have not used the glass sealant before, but I would imagine as long as you can see a thin layer being applied it will be just as effective.

As far as paint sealant goes, you want to start with a clean clay barred surface prior to applying sealant.  Once it cures and you top it with wax you will still be able to use detail spray without ruining the protection you put on the paint.

A new super top secret limited edition product with an accompanying microfiber towel. I'm not 100% sure if Adam and Matt want to officially unveil and launch it just yet, so I'm going to have to defer that to them

Mike McGuire, a very nice gentleman that I got to speak to for a few minutes. He's in the Rocky Mountain Triumph Club. I don't believe he is a member on here, but he went home with a Rupes LHR 15ES Bigfoot Polisher Complete Correction Kit - Rupes gave away the polisher of his choice and Adam gave the rest of the Complete Correction Kit to him, all in a nice Adam's Large Travel Bag - valued at a grand total of $691.98! He chose the LHR 15ES after trying it out earlier in the day during the demonstration by Adam. He was so excited that he went over to the inventory isle with me and bought more products too - a Car Wash Trio, two Grit Guards, and a few other things.

Very exceptionally cool of Dylan and Jason to giveaway the machine and for Adam to throw in the rest of the corresponding polishing kit!

Adam also did a runner-up drawing prize of a Winter Prep essentials kit, and Brandi Leighman was the winner of that great prize.

On a personal note, it was honor for me to meet so many wonderful new people today. It was great seeing some familiar faces and getting to meet Jason Rose. Within 1 minute of meeting him and inspecting a black hood on a VW, he taught me some new tricks and technique to maximize the use of an LED torch light at the proper angle to see scratches and swirls better, while minimizing the reflection of the metallics in the paint back into my eyes. His wealth of knowledge, combined with years of technical expertise from Adam and Dylan as well, was greatly appreciated by me and everyone else in attendance and made for the best detail clinic that I've ever attended.

Lastly, I want to give a thumbs up to the rest of the Adam's Team - Ben, Kourtney, and Joe did great at answering questions and handling the rush of all of you shine fanatics wanting products, Shane and the rest of the warehouse team did an awesome job getting everything organized and set up for the clinic, Joe got some excellent photos throughout the event...me, well, I tried to run around all day helping as many customers as possible with detailed technical answers and information, looked at some problem areas on cars, corrected some scratches on a few, helped out during the outside demonstrations with Adam and Kourtney, and I enjoyed every minute of it! It was a very busy, fun-filled day - this is my passion and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Kourtney@Adams reacted to TheWolf in What about one of these to prevent hard water spots?
Josh, that hard water filter is not something you would want to use to wash your car.  It essentially adds minerals (calcium carbonate or calcite) to raise pH, but the calcite will actually cause more water spotting since it will leave behind calcium carbonate.

It terms of preventing water spots, the lower the TDS (total dissolved solids) the better.  That filter increases TDS.

Looking at the options they have for cartridges, none will benefit car washing.  A softener cartridge might help some as it replaces harder minerals with sodium, but you will still get spots, they just won't be as harmful, as far as potential for etching your clear coat.

Here is a write-up from that website on car washing.

    http://www.purewaterproducts.com/articles/spot-free-car-wash/

If you want a true spot-free rinse without drying, or no chance of spots when washing in the heat/sun, then you have to go with deionized water.  Reverse-osmosis water can get close, but not all minerals are removed.

For info on deionizing filters, check out Post #135 in this thread:

Lets make the money make sense for ya lol

its a 37 hour round trip lets call it 38 with gas and food and "other" stops.

$400 is probably round trip lets assume it is.

So if you drive the cost is food, fuel, and wear on the vehicle. Translated out via the airfare it would cost you round about $10.53 and hour to drive out there for the cost of the airfare.

Assuming you get say 25mpg and drive at an average speed of 60mph (for the sake of math) That is 1140 miles or there abouts meaning you will need 45.6 gallons of fuel at 25mpg figure about $2 per gallon and it will cost you round about $92 in fuel ONE WAY, so that is $184 in fuel plus your time and any food you eat, not to mention the wear on the vehicle.

Id say take the flight and have fun.

Sorry felt like doing math tonight.

The other guys already kinda beat me to it, but as promised, here are some detailed descriptions and uses for each towel. Let me know if you have any other questions

    Adam's Single Soft Towel
The Adam's Single Soft Towel is a premium 16"x16" microfiber towel that is excellent for many exterior uses on your vehicle. It works great for wiping down a vehicle with Detail Spray, you can use it to remove polish, sealant, and wax residue, and you can use them for Rinseless Washes and for applying H2O Guard & Gloss. It is half the thickness of the Double Soft Towel, which allows you to better feel the surface underneath your hand as you are buffing away wax and polish. It also has a black stitched border to help distinguish it from the Double Soft.

    Adam's Double Soft Towel
The Double Soft Towel is the thickest and softest towel offered by Adam's. It is twice the thickness of the Single Soft Towel and also the same 16"x16" size. It can be used for all of the same applications as the Single Soft Towel, but I especially like them for a Detail Spray wipe-down at a car show or for using them with Rinseless Wash in the 5 gallon Wash Bucket - because they are twice as thick, they will hold more Rinseless solution and provide a safe and effective way to perform a rinseless wash of your vehicle. These towels are seriously soft, to truly pamper your pride and joy show cars, and every time I show one to someone new at an event, they are amazed at the quality and softness of the towel.

    Adam's Borderless Gray Towel
The Borderless Gray Towel is a super plush microfiber towel similar to the Single Soft Towel, except that it has no satin or stitched border - just nice soft microfiber from edge to edge. It can be used for all of the same applications as the Single Soft and Double Soft Towels, but I like to use them with H2O Guard & Gloss. Since they are dyed gray, they are color-coded to HGG and help me to keep my towels organized. Plus, since H2O Guard & Gloss can cause some slight staining to the white Single Soft and Double Soft Towels, this is a way to keep those towels from staining if that bothers you (the staining does not decrease their effectiveness in any way).

    Adam's Edgeless Utility Towel
The Edgeless Utility Towels are a great all purpose microfiber detailing towel. They're designed for the dirtier jobs that you wouldn't want to use your nice plush towels on. They're great for use with Total Interior Detailer to clean plastic and vinyl door panels, dashboards, door jambs, door sill plates, and seats, and they can be used to clean up the engine bay, polish chrome exhaust tips, and so on. They are an edgeless design similar to the Borderless Gray Towel, but rather than being a plush microfiber, they have a tight weave, short fiber design that is great for scrubbing carpets as well.

    Adam's Great White Drying Towel
As the name implies, this towel is designed specifically for drying your vehicle in a safe and effortless manner. The waffle weave pattern is soft and absorbent and will not scratch or leave any swirl marks or streaks while you dry. I love these towels. They make drying a vehicle much more enjoyable and less of a stressful situation worrying about marking up that perfect finish.

    Adam's Waterless Wash Towel
The Waterless Wash Towel is a waffle weave towel similar to the Great White Drying Towel, but in a smaller 16"x24" size designed specifically to be used with Adam's Waterless Wash. The waffle weave texture allows you to clean a slightly dirty vehicle without introducing new scratches or swirls, and the towels are color-coded blue to match all of our other car washing products. Some of our forum members even prefer to use them with Detail Spray as well.

    Adam's Glass Cleaning Towel
The Glass Cleaning Towel is a tight, flat microfiber weave with a nap designed to clean and buff windows and other glass to give streak free results when used with Adam's Glass Cleaner. These towels really do work great for me and much better than other options I've used in the past. They are 16"x16" in size like many of our other towels, which allows you to fold them up into quarter sections for plenty of cleaning surfaces before they get completely soiled and need to be washed.

Hope that wasn't too much to read and I hope it helps
