BRZN
Sometimes it's the little things... Our youngest daughter owns a 2012 Camaro LT1 A $10.00 can of Black Plasti Dip and a little time! Gold insert in the bow tie? Came out easy enough Snapped back in Much better! On to the rear Gold bow tie insert and chrome tail light bezels? Me no likey! Ahh much better! Out with the chrome tail light bezels Whoops, broke a tab, dang it! Cleaned, taped and five coats applied I think they came out really nice Back in and buttoned up Edited September 18, 2015 by BRZN mc2hill, PT3, Captain Slow and 3 others

cev103
I did the same thing to my emblems, although the GMC emblems take a bit more prep than the Chevy emblems. If you haven't already done so, you should put a couple coats of the Glosifier to prevent it from fading. ndkid
Craig, did you remove them or mask them off?
cev103
I masked them off. The rear emblem is attached with double sided tape and the front is held in place with clips. I read about some people removing the front emblem without taking apart the grill, but I didn't have any luck doing it. This is where I learned how to do mine: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159209-emblem-mods-paint-plasti-dip-vinyl/page-1?hl=emblem%20mod
CMDChase
Love that look. Was never real crazy about the big gold bow tie. Is the stuff durable?
BRZN
Very durable Ed. I did the front and rear emblems on my 2013 Malibu shortly after I got it new, it now has just shy of 30,000 miles on it. The emblem still looks just about like I'd just sprayed it. Looks even better with a shot of In & Out Spray or some SVRT. A smashed bug left on too long will stain it a bit, ask me how I know that... Best thing about this stuff is if you don't like it, or tire of the look, it peels right off. Edited September 19, 2015 by BRZN
