  1. Very nice work! That red turned out great!
  2. Also, the video was for demonstration purposes and he was speaking to explain what he was doing and why which causes it to take longer. As far as 'absolutely zero possibility' of doing them in under 30 seconds, I can speak from experience that it is absolutely possible, especially if the tires are clean. You may use a little more product so it spreads quicker, but even with tires > 35" I have no trouble doing it in that amount of time when I'm in a rush (minus 6-8" across the bottom of the tire that I tackle later after rolling the truck).
  3. If you only plastidip the section over the signature, you will have to be careful while wiping over it to avoid peeling up the plastidip. Can you post a picture of it? if the underside of the hood is ribbed for support, I would recommend using a clear vinyl to wrap the whole section that the signature is in which will give you a clean look where you cannot really tell the vinyl is there.
  4. Welcome to the Forum! What is it that you shine with Adam's? Any pics?
  5. I would not use the brush to apply Tire Shine to the entire tire, only the shoulder blocks that are difficult to dress (this takes under 30 seconds per tire). The rest of the tire should still be dressed by spraying and leveling with a microfiber or foam block.
  6. Welcome to the forum! Good looking mustang!
  7. For those of you who have a hard time getting the tire shine in shoulder lugs and other complicated spaces, try adding a small paint brush to your detailing supplies. It helps tremendously.
  8. Pics of the TBSS Patriot shine soon please!
  9. H2O Guard and Gloss not only protects the vehicle greatly, but provides probably the best available shine behind Adam's premium waxes, especially on light colored vehicles. It is one of the few products I have found to add a superior shine even to my white paint. Rinseless Wash will also enhance the shine of your vehicle as it contains wax additives so it will leave a similar finish as detail spray will.
  10. ^^ Especially true when surface area is large enough to be measured in square yards like my crew cab long bed. Proper dilutions rather than using a lot of a full strength product will keep me from spending way too much.
  11. 16oz bottle with a pull cap filled with water??
  12. One of my favorite movie series. Can't wait to check it out!
  13. Very nice work, Rich! That pearl looks good!
  14. It has a potential to, and possibly remove color from the fabric. It all depends on the type and condition of your seats though. I highly recommend checking out Adam's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, it is a great product.
  15. Dawn dish soap is a good way to strip wash if you do not have APC to add to your regular wash bucket; it will cause your rubber moldings to dry out and become chalky in most cases. Adding 2-3 oz of APC to your regular wash bucket is the best way to strip wash and has enough cleaning power to easily strip the sealant and Americana. P.S. - I do recommend that you go ahead and clay the vehicle again being that it has been back on the road for a few weeks. If anything, it should be a very quick and easy clay session but will ensure that there is nothing missed by the wash for the polisher to pick up and grind into your paint.
  16. Good looking G8! H2O Guard & Gloss definitely works wonders on white. Welcome to the Forum, Gary.
  17. Absolutely. My post above has an attached pdf that has some excellent dilutions listed on it, particularly for Rinseless Wash.
  18. Like Jason said, it is definitely acceptable. I started using 64:1 Rinseless as clay lube but found I was spraying more than I liked and increased it to 32:1 for a little lubricity.
  19. Chrysler is pretty bad too... It's hard to get a close up reflection in my truck that isn't very blurred from the orange peel. Nice work on the Raptor, Dan!
  20. Sounds like a trick but good time!
