Wax will diminish the natural hydrophobic quality of the coating. Each coating has a recommendation for protection on top. Adams has ceramic boost for example. Up to you of course but if you’re going to put the money and effort into a coating, I’d stick with the recommended protectants for the top coat.

Standard polishing won’t take out serious etching. If you look really closely you’ll be able to see where it’s eaten away clearcoat and paint. My wife’s car has serious bug guts etching and after about 5 minutes with a polisher and I realized it was pointless. You might be able to wet sand and polish, but not telling. Depends on the severity. You have any pictures?

Is it big guts etching?

Two bucket (or three) is a must. If you choose the foam gun route might as well get the premium instead of the cheap plastic one. Once you’re there, you’re already set back $100 that could have been on product. Really it’s up to you and what wash technique you prefer.

There’s a sticker trade thread somewhere. Or AP collection thread would work too.

I think the geo-tool could use some work, it seems like you'd cramp up just trying to hold it, and personally it LOOKS awkward to hold and easier to drop. I say awkward because I have never tried it. Also I haven't tried Adam's clay, I feel like it out of my price range
It's your discretion as to what is in your price range, and yours alone. However, I have tried other clay and always come back to Adams because I like it's ease of use. However, there's plenty of cheaper clay mitts out there if you'd rather try those, and they work perfectly fine as well. If you do decide to try Adams clay, I would recommend just getting the refill and keeping it in an airtight container of your own, if you're not keen on the geo-tool.

Like Dan mentioned, letting the Paint Sealant sit on the paint for a bit greatly helps with cure time, especially if you live in a higher humidity area.
Also, less is better. You may not even see it spreading on the paint with the applicator, but it's there. A lot of people prefer to apply by machine to get a smooth even layer, but I apply by hand. All preference but the less you apply, the less you'll have to take off.

I’ve used my clay bar many times in conjunction with my clay mitt, so I don’t know exactly how many cars I’ve clay barred, but I can say I’ve had the same clay bar for about 6 months now, and there’s still plenty of life left.
I hated the geo tool. It just gave me hand cramps and I found it didn’t hold the clay at all.

Nope, WV. Given WVU is the state/hometown team...Go Mountaineers!...for the NFL, it's the land of Browns, Bengals, Steelers and even some Redskin fans. But I've been a Packer fan for years.
Heck yes if I had a choice then I’d choose a winner too! Bengals and Steelers are okay, but I’d be downright embarrassed to be a Browns fan.

To answer your first question, LPS will work on windows. However, I prefer Glass Sealant because Paint Sealant has the tendency to get under your window seals or into corners making it very difficult to remove, whereas Glass Sealant hazes over and simply wipes off with Glass Cleaner.

Good call. Every time I order t-shirts I always have to get one for me and one for my wife. It would be nice if she had her own so she would stop stealing mine!

I’ve cleaned my alternately with APC and MFR. I don’t see a noticeable difference between the 2 chemicals so I stick with APC for cost reasons.

I ended up dumping a quarter bottle of the liquid because I couldn’t believe how weak it was next to the aerosol. I had just done a wash a few hours prior and was just getting around to the windows. I had dried with detail spray so the windows were streaked up pretty good, but when I tried to use the Glass Cleaner liquid all it did was smear and give off that mirrored look so I dumped it and grabbed the aerosol. No issues after that. I’ve run into problems before with the liquid so I’m glad to hear it works well for you.

It's Adams coating
I used a non-Adams but mine is relatively new. But no particles sticking so far.

I coated my truck 3 weeks ago and it looks like everything sticks to it? Hopefully I didn't mess anything up
Hmm interesting... may depend on the coating

I recently coated my car and after driving it around a couple days, I’ve noticed nothing sticks to it anymore. So if you have the opportunity, a coating would provide the slickness you’re looking for.
At the end of the day, dust will settle regardless, but with some wind, it would blow off.

Well it is Chinese so maybe you got a dud. Mine don’t get too hot, even after prolonged usage. Give Adams a call and keep us updated
