I am intrigued by the foam shampoo, hose, clay mitt (significant sale), and of course stickers. But a squash scented air freshener? I won't knock it till I smell it, but I can honestly say I've never wanted my car to smell like a vegetable.

That is a heckuva deal on the clay mitt... I think it works well.

lol I’ve never had much luck with the air fresheners. They lose their scent very quickly so it wouldn’t smell like a veggie for long!

  2. Thank you, Chris!

And thank you to all the Veterans out there. As civilian members of the merchant marine, we are honored to be able to sail the same seas as the US military and support them during times of peace, as well as be available to be called into service during times of war. We of all people understand their great sacrifice, and are ever grateful for everything our veterans have done, and will do for us in the future.

@Nick,  Please don't get me wrong, I think that Adams has superior products and a relentless marketing strategy to match.  Without getting too philosophical, I believe that loyal customers, regardless of how small or large (weekend warrior or master detailer), that are exclusive to one company, are invaluable to the respective company.  With that said, when consumers no longer feel the "warm and fuzzy" feeling for whatever reason, they tend to look elsewhere to see what is out there and many are willing to sacrifice slightly lower (or equivalent) quality for more ounces for a given price point.  Remember, quality, unless quantitatively measured, is in the eyes of the beholder.  I dunno, maybe Adams has had a high profile marketing company tell them that the 100% loyal customers are worth less than gained profits by going to smaller sizes.  With that said, I need to place an order with Adams for a few things.  Research for me requires research and experimentation before making a switch......that process has begun for me.

I’ve been over this before on this forum and trust me this isn’t a path you want to make public here.  You’ll absolutely get flamed in the process, or even reprimanded. But there are many here that agree with you, and everyone has their own individual reasons for shopping elsewhere. With respect to the Adams Forums rules and all the amazing customer service reps, there comes a time for most when the allure just isn’t what it used to be, whether it be because of product cost and/or amount, the obnoxious marketing and hype, or my personal favorite, shipping costs. So your best bet is to just do you. Adams isn’t going to change for us, loyal customers or not, so you’ll have to adapt and move on.

  4. What makes the Restorer different is that it’s most likely oil-based dye like the competitor versions are. VRT is water-based, hence the streaking issues and greasiness. The coating of course is the most durable. But like you suggested, the Restorer is the in between version of the two.

I’ve also read on here that you can layer the coating over Restorer, sealing in the dyed goodness for even longer.

I even  used the exact same outlet to. Weird. I'll try again next weekend and see what happens. Might have to return it if I'm only gonna get to use 1 motor. Not really worth it

I know it’s not ideal but if you have electrical experience or have a friend that does, you would wire in a fast dedicated 20A circuit to your garage panel, breaker to outlet. That’s what I planned on doing when I get my pressure washer and master blaster eventually.
