Like Chris said, Tire and Rubber cleaner works great. You may need several passes before the bubbles turn out white, but eventually all the brown will come off.

The best way to clean out the edge of the film is not to get any there in the first place. It shows up like a sore thumb and there really is no easy way to get it out, if at all. Apply the Paint Sealant in parallel to the seam and just be very very careful to not get any under the edge. Once it sticks to the film, you’ll be in a bad place. At last resort, I’ve used a toothpick to get some out but I feel it’s not a 100% removal job.
Lastly, you can apply anything over paint sealant really. Lots of people favor H2O Guard and Gloss for the ease, shine, and longevity. Others prefer a wax approach, and some like Brilliant Glaze. Really it’s up to you and your arsenal, but you’ll want to apply the paint sealant to bare paint for the longest lasting and most durable approach.

There are other manufacturers that make a bug cleaner that works well. However, I’m not sure if any won’t strip away protection.

I don't use the wheel woolies anymore (another brand). I switched over to the **** detailing brushes, much better IMO.
I just looked them up on Amazon... much better handles!

I’m a shorter dude so no massive hands here, but I can’t even use the wheel woolie. I get horrible hand cramps from trying to grip the rubber handle. It gets incredibly slippery when wet!

I had about 16 gray edgeless that no longer picked up water, so I tried the boiling process. There were several that I dunked that did not visibly absorb the water for a full 3 or 4 seconds. I could see they still looked dry, even while submerged... crazy. I stopped using the G&G to avoid this
again, but they’re all fine now.

I plan to do a complete detail on my 2007 Corvette in the next few weeks and just got a shipment of Adams products in and it included the new strip wash. My question is I was will this new product remove all the old wax, so I can proceed directly to claying the car after the wash?
Yes, it should. I prefer the Strip wash but you also use APC to take protection off vehicles.

I feel like i'm getting called out since I got the last free product. I don't see anything in the rules that subscribing to the thread is not allowed. I am always grateful for the free stuff and have returned the favor.
Not you, brother! Everybody needs to relax ? this is a friendly forum!

Who gets free stuff??
Rich... we're trying to be discrete here lol. But this particular person that gets free stuff is subscribed to this thread... he knows who he is....

I have a spray bottle (plastic) with wheel cleaner in it. Just about empty, I want to use that same bottle and put a different product (chemical) In it, either clay lube, or something else. Not sure what, is just rinsing out the bottle with water ok ??
I usually just rinse them out with water until it stops foaming. With wheel cleaner being so potent, you may want to try washing it out with Dawn or a sort of detergent as well. But definitely reuse your bottles... save the environment! ?

You wouldn’t be talking about people who already get free stuff and brag about it, would you?
I wasn’t particularly, lol but yes that has also happened to me!

Well people subscribe to this thread so I stopped posted here because it’s the same people claiming stuff every time.

I recently applied a coating over the film on my wife's Camaro. I wish I had done it to my 4Runner as well because it's turned yellow on mine, so definitely apply something over it. The main thing to remember is to be very careful with the edges of the film, as to not get product stuck under it. My wife got a piece of blue clay stuck under mine and it showed up on my white paint like you wouldn't believe... and it was there for MONTHS.

If somebody sends me a sample here in Florida, I'll let y'all know

We've asked for this for a while, basically since it was released. I don't think it's going to happen.

This may seem like a really dumb question lol but are we talking about the inside or outside of the car?
Oh, and welcome!

Whew I guess my pockets aren’t that deep lol.

I'm not really sure. I even inquired with them to see if I could get some with my affiliate account and ended up picking some up elsewhere. It's a perk for their dealers I guess to try to drive some business their way.
If this is the case, they should include some products that can't simply be covered by another product, i.e. Tire and Rubber Cleaner. I try to purchase from dealers when I can but the ones around me aren't too good.

After I dry my towels, they usually have enough static charge to power Tampa Bay for a week or so. It's fine.. definitely don't use dryer sheets. I usually dry mine on low heat for however long it takes to dry them. Over a year later and all my towels are still fine.

The towel is far too large to be worried about which side you’re using. With the exception of the room and hood, I usually just have the towel bunched up in my hands and whichever side is touching the paint is the side I’m using.
I can dry my entire 4Runner after a pool rinse with a single towel. Best dry towel I’ve ever had.
