  1. The towel is far too large to be worried about which side you’re using. With the exception of the room and hood, I usually just have the towel bunched up in my hands and whichever side is touching the paint is the side I’m using.

I can dry my entire 4Runner after a pool rinse with a single towel. Best dry towel I’ve ever had.

  2. The best way to clean out the edge of the film is not to get any there in the first place. It shows up like a sore thumb and there really is no easy way to get it out, if at all. Apply the Paint Sealant in parallel to the seam and just be very very careful to not get any under the edge. Once it sticks to the film, you’ll be in a bad place. At last resort, I’ve used a toothpick to get some out but I feel it’s not a 100% removal job.

Lastly, you can apply anything over paint sealant really. Lots of people favor H2O Guard and Gloss for the ease, shine, and longevity. Others prefer a wax approach, and some like Brilliant Glaze. Really it’s up to you and your arsenal, but you’ll want to apply the paint sealant to bare paint for the longest lasting and most durable approach.

I plan to do a complete detail on my 2007 Corvette in the next few weeks and just got a shipment of Adams products in and it included the new strip wash.  My question is I was will this new product remove all the old wax, so I can proceed directly to claying the car after the wash?

Yes, it should. I prefer the Strip wash but you also use APC to take protection off vehicles.

I have a spray bottle (plastic) with wheel cleaner in it.   Just about empty,  I want to use that same bottle and put a different product (chemical) In it, either clay lube, or something else. Not sure what,  is just rinsing out the bottle with water ok ??

I usually just rinse them out with water until it stops foaming. With wheel cleaner being so potent, you may want to try washing it out with Dawn or a sort of detergent as well. But definitely reuse your bottles... save the environment! ?

  5. I recently applied a coating over the film on my wife's Camaro. I wish I had done it to my 4Runner as well because it's turned yellow on mine, so definitely apply something over it. The main thing to remember is to be very careful with the edges of the film, as to not get product stuck under it. My wife got a piece of blue clay stuck under mine and it showed up on my white paint like you wouldn't believe... and it was there for MONTHS.

I'm not really sure.  I even inquired with them to see if I could get some with my affiliate account and ended up picking some up elsewhere.  It's a perk for their dealers I guess to try to drive some business their way.

If this is the case, they should include some products that can't simply be covered by another product, i.e. Tire and Rubber Cleaner. I try to purchase from dealers when I can but the ones around me aren't too good.

  8. After I dry my towels, they usually have enough static charge to power Tampa Bay for a week or so. It's fine.. definitely don't use dryer sheets. I usually dry mine on low heat for however long it takes to dry them. Over a year later and all my towels are still fine.
