  1. Talk about dangling a carrot! How was your visit?
  2. Oh I wasn't condoning the Pam treatment. As for BW, use a thin coat, not thick. Layering it too much can actually reduce the visual effects making it hazy. BG will look awesome!
  3. Looks great! Just know you'll need a lot more than Revive to get the headlights clear.
  4. Were the wheels cool to the touch, or did you spray the WC on hot/just driven wheels?
  5. It's pretty thin...watery is a decent description. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before use as the solvents raise to the top over time. It won't be thick like a wax or sealant given its chemical makeup.
  6. Welcome, Mike! You've come to the right place. Ask any questions and/or lend any advice you have. Great looking car!
  7. First, welcome! Be sure to post a more formal intro on the New Member forum, including details on what you're keeping shiny (pics welcome and encouraged). Lots of factors play into longevity of the products, including driving conditionsand even the color of your car. Since it sound slike a daily driver, dricing conditions will just be an accepted thing. So what color is it? If darker like black, in that sun and heat, surface temps can soar and burn off carnuba waxes like Americana in a matter of days or even hours. It's the nature of the beast. But they also add a ton of shine and depth. I think PS is a great option, as is maintaining with HGG every few washes. You could also layer wax if you'd like for added shine and depth, just understand you may need to reapply it more often than you'd hope. If you haven't already, read this for more:
  8. They'll be open at 8 ?. BG on the outside of the entire car, glass included, will really make that car pop! Perhaps bring a couple old towels for cleaning off the tires and rims...WW can work on them, too.
  9. In case any Adam's staff reads this (Looking at you, @Kyle@Adams!), this thread brings up my idea from over a year ago for a new video...How to get car show ready.
  10. And if (when!) you bring the BG, don't forget the applicator. Oh, GC would also be a good idea. In fact, if you can seal your windshield before you leave, that can help with bugs later.
  11. ^^^This. @pirahnah3/Jim has you covered. I'll second the WW, BG and towels. Lots of towels. DS is always a good thing to have too. If you have time, pick up a 4 or 8 bottle bag, or maybe a trunk organizer to carry it along and show it off during the show. Something Adam's. And don't forget pics to post here when you get back!!! Good luck, Joey!
  12. Seems to have slipped through the cracks on here, but there's an Open House and Clinic at the HQ on August 4th from 11-3. I can't make it ☹️ but would be great to see pics and read some stories... For those that have never been, it's an awesome place to visit, chat with the staff, look around, and likely get some good deals. They've had food trucks and bouncy castles for the kids, too, so come ready for a fun afternoon!
  13. Hope you know I'm not trying to be difficult. Rather your question was pretty broad so trying to focus the answers you get to directly address your question. In fact, I currently don't use any of Adam's waxes besides BW, and that's not on my car. So you're looking for best option for a combo of both longevity and gloss in a wax, right?
  14. Welcome to the addiction! That's a good lookin' truck. Dan (@TheWolf) has an awesome thread on efforts with his Raptor...recommend you take a look for some more insights.
  15. Ok. You mentioned no coating, so is it sealed? Or are you using wax as your protective layer only?
  16. You know, as you progress, you will want to remember this link. You username will soon be out of date!
