  1. They have you covered above, and the tip from @ZMAN024 and @Nickfire20 about VRT before you clay, polish, seal, wax is spot on. Where you from in WV?
  2. I've said it several times on here...Adam's needs to make a video on what goes into the making of Mystery Boxes and Buckets. That would help answer a lot of questions. And for anyone still skeptical, agreed with @Rich...I've seen it first-hand. They create the boxes/buckets, usually several varirties of each, box them up, stack them, then pull from the stack as they ship. They really don't have any idea on who gets what. Here's a pick of MBs waiting to go...
  3. What process/product are you using to clean them? They can be cleaned the same way and get equally clean by using the MRB and the tips outlined here:
  4. You bet! I've said more than once it should be mandatory reading for any new member, and even a good refresher for those of us that have been around for a while. Post up some pics when you get done...would live to see the results.
  5. I came here to add almost this exact same comment... Heard someone mentioned just this evening a latex glove wipe down, with either the glove or seat a little wet...sorry, don't remember which one...will essentially roll the pet hair into a rope. Guess you move little by little and doesn't take long at all. Never tried it, but the guy swore by it with white pet hair on black interior.
  6. Welcome, Derek! Great to have you along for the shine! Good lookin' car.
  7. Might've been me, but wax doesn't bond to paint, nor do glazes. Sealants do, however. Here's the article I love to reference that has more details.
  8. Blueberry in the link, apple as the scent? Good catch...but maybe they're just trying to be oirginial?! ?
  9. C'mon, Jason. You can't keep that kind of a beauty a secret! Let's see more pics of the shine!!
  10. I'll offer a different view. As a general rule, the most durable products are layered first. In this case, that would be the HGG then Americana. You can switch them, but you may not get the appearance or durability you're after. Here's more on the differences between products and layering, too.
  11. Ok...I might just have to head north this weekend.....no promises, but standby, forum members! Anything done on here has to be a trade, though.
  12. Thanks for being such an awesome member on here, Jim!
  13. Having a white car myself, and a daily at that, I'll add two things to the spot-on comments above... Clay is probably needed (you can do the baggie test to make sure), but be aware it may cause some marring of the paint that a polisher would be recommended to remove. On a white car, probably not as noticeable, but be aware it could happen. You could stop at HGG and likely be just as happy with the results. In my experience wax doesn't tend to add much to the shine on a white car above what HGG will, and HGG should last longer than the BW for protection.
  14. Welcome to the addiction, Bill! Great choice on Adam's as your product pine, and for coming here to learn...ask away!
  15. Next to a Chicago Tour of Food, that's the best idea I've heard in a while! I think I'll post it on the product feedback site...
  16. Might be because you have to be social to accept payments.
  17. Great looking car, Jen! Congrats on all the hardware...and for feeling waxstatic!
  18. Can you post a picture of what you mean?
  19. They don't sell it, to many members' dismay. But a call to the HQ for a special request has been known to work from time to time.
