  1. You can trade or even sell other brands on here...but the response may be tempered.
  2. Went to the US Senior Open. Good people, good beer, good golf...all add up to a great day! Teeing off on 3...or maybe it was 4... Vijay. He's a big man with a really smooth swing! Miguel Jimenez Fred Couples on a very hard green at 11 (and what a view of Colorado Springs!) Billy Mayfair on 8 Eventual champ David Toms on 6...long, difficult putt for birdie he'd leave just short A view of 18 with the Broadmoor as the backdrop
  3. Welcome, Brandon! Nice cars/pics and collection. Oh, and I'm Chris, and I have an addiction to shine.
  4. I'm sure lots of people have extras, but if you're ever in a pinch, you can always get some off the website...https://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/empty-bottles-sprayers/adam-s-16oz-replacement-sprayers.html.
  5. I don't have matte wheels, but Adam's sells their Matte Detailer, https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/carwashing/adam-s-matte-detailer.html. Have you tried that yet? Maybe in conjunction with the Eco Wheel Cleaner.
  6. You have some work ahead of you, and a polisher will be needed, as will pads and polishes/compounds. @shane@detailedreflections has some good insight on this process, so hopefully he will chime in here (don't recall where I read his comments elsewhere on here), too. I must say, though, it does look great in the pics! And hey, I'm sure you learned some lessons along the way that will make the next time go even better. I also recommend you post any lessons learned from this experience on the Don't Dos of Detailing thread ?.
  7. With this set on sale plus 15% off, they're a steal! https://adamspolishes.com/the-stack-adam-s-borderless-gray-towel-24-pack.html
  8. Sorry, Jen! I can't help myself. Just thinking of those makes me drool. If no forum meet up, maybe @Duster42could mail me an Italian beef, wet, or deep dish?
  9. TS is my preference for tires vs. VRT. Lasts longer, and if you don't like the sheen, simply keep wiping a bit longer to knock it down, or wipe with an old towel or the applicator. "VRT milk" is VRT diluted 50/50 and makes it into a sprayable form for use on bed covers, as well as hot tub covers, etc.
  10. Welcome to the addiction, Chuck! Me loves me some Portillo's and Lou Malnati's!!!
  11. Welcome to the addiction, Zach! As for what to order first, what are your initial goals? We can lend some advice. But don't be surprised to hear about every suggestion under the sun! For the record, Mystery Boxes are a great place to start your collection. Offered once maybe twice a month, here's the latest history. And then read this, too... And when it arrives, agreed with Oz, post some pics of the new truck.
  12. Welcome, Eric! I have a pearl white car, albeit metallic, but love the simple combo of PS and HGG. Wash and Wax is also great on it for maintenance washes every so often, say, once a month...otherwise just straight CS with HGG every 4 washes or so. BG looks good, but it's not lasting shine like HGG. You'll only get a week or two out of it on a daily. One of the most informative articles on here, read this for more info... What info do you need on the polisher pads? Adam's products are all color coded, so that's a place to start. Ask away!
  13. @Rich has a beautiful white garage queen (and occasional daily), so he offers solid advice. But you'll probably get about half and half on this, so I'd say it's personal preference...try both, and see what you prefer. Waxes and glazes can be layered either way since netiher bonds to the paint. Sealants and coatings, however, should have a naked suface and be layered first (some have done BG before PS, but I don't).
  14. Reading that quickly I first thought it said you fell through the shower floor. ? I'm glad that didn't happen. ?
  15. I think we are all missing a point here...this is how Adam's stays in business. It's job security, and an addiction enabler. ?
  16. If I was going to buy one, I prefer the smaller "standard detail" one, too. But I also have a request in for a collapsible cart, so that would be my preference of the 3, if available.
  17. Might just be me, or maybe others too, but my wish list via my account profile has said "We'll be back soon" for months and months. I called and talked with someone, but still no fix. Would be nice to be able to use this feature again. Here's a screenshot. Someone from Adam's can PM me for my account info.
  18. Lots more videos, including using a machine polisher, can be found here. https://adamspolishes.com/video Bottom line advice: work least to most aggressive with the pads and polishes, start in a 2'x2' section to see what it will take for the majority of the rest of the car, work slowly in a cross hatch pattern, and have fun!
  19. Actually, Adam's PS claims at least 6 months. And in my experience, HGG - which I LOVE - lasts a month or two, although I'm using it as a maintenance vs. stand-alone (which it can be used for, as well) product on top of the PS. I'll offer this article on layering products and the differences between them:
