  1. General consensus I've seen is 1:1. Take a look at this for lots more on diluting products:
  2. Actually, I probably could've played one of those when I lost a ball on 17! ? Congrats on the long par. If anything, that'll keep you coming back.
  3. Great work, Jen! What did you end up using on the salt?
  4. Got hit with these. I really don't like hail. ? Thankfully, the rides were safely tucked away in the garage. Then went and played 18 on the Air Force Academy! ?️‍♂️⛳
  5. In addition to that forum, Adam's also posts their upcoming events on the website, https://adamspolishes.com/events.
  6. Welcome to the addiction, Pat! Agreed with above...great looking Vette...now let's see some more pics!
  7. I completely understand! ? Smells like skunk. But the Eco Wheel Cleaner has a MUCH better smell. Give that a shot if you're in the market.
  8. I know you went by the HQ already, but you're only about an hour from me...let me know if I can be of any help. I have most everything.
  9. You bet! Here's a link to the results I got using this process a few months ago (click on "falcaineer replied to a topic" or the subdued arrow to take you directly to the post)...
  10. You're well on your way! Recommend you read this forum to help answer questions about the best products for what you want...
  11. I have a pearl white metallic paint, as well. I agree with @Beemer, my recommendation is strip wash, clay, polish, (remove clay and polish residue with 50/50 iso alcohol or full-strength Coating Prep), and then PS. You can add BG last to make it shine, but after it wears off in a week or two, i recommend you use HGG to maintain every 4 washes or so. Bottom line, white really responds well to PS and HGG. You should also consider the W&W. Note Revive isn't very powerful, so while you said you have some minor imperfections, if you have scratches or swirls, you'll need something stronger.
  12. TRC and APC are two different products, as is SW. The latter two will strip any of the HGG that's on there so I'd suggest either one. As @Dan@Adams said, Revive is also an option to try, if you have it. In the end, polishing it out by machine may also be in your future if these other options don't work. Sorry you're going through this...HGG is an awesome product, but it does take a bit to figure out the right process.
  13. Looks great, Ray! What will/have you added for protection and shine?
  14. Have you given Wheel Cleaner a go on the rims yet?
  15. Welcome, Andrew! Lots of VAG owners on here that I'm sure will help square you away on that hard clear.
  16. Great deal for someone out there! Good luck with the sale, Jake.
  17. First, welcome! Yes, wheel coating can be used on paint, but you may notice a difference in appearance between the wheel coating and the paint coating (if you're using it). Less shine, for example. Others more experienced in coating I'm sure will chime in to offer more details.
  18. Nope, never thought of or tried it. I think DS already serves this purpose, anyway. Quickly adds gloss and protection in a spray form. Same goes for HGG (my personal favorite and choice).
  19. I go back to the CPW product page that says it'll last up to twice as long as carnuba waxes. So, IMO, double those estimates, with lower end for dailies, higher for garage queens. Certainly willing to listen and learn from others.
  20. Double Soft on the paint. Cheap MF on the wheels. Here's a video on the process:
  21. Thanks, Dan, that should do it For those of us without the SK (at least not yet), anyone know if this will fit the PC? Doesn't look like it, but maybe I'm missing something.
