  1. No, but i think it's been talked about on here before. May need to do some digging. But have you tried TS? Lasts quite a bit longer, and is my go to for tires (aftre using VRT for a while). You can knock down the shine with a towel, if desired.
  2. Welcome, Billy! Nice, shiny lookin' rides you got there! Any questions, ask away. Any wisdom, we'll take it. ?
  3. It adds SPF 65 protection. Is that what you're getting at?
  4. Welcome! Nice collection you've got going. ?
  5. I really need to get some of those. Good idea, by the way.
  6. For future reference, agreed with VRT at the beginning, and I'd add to do it right after strip wash, before clay for the same reasons. To remove it now, for those reading without a steamer, Eco APC will work fine (it also removes any protection not named coating, but since we are talking about polish, safe to assume there isn't any on the car). I imagine Ceramic Prep will work, too, but haven't tried.
  7. I haven't bought anything like these (most everything on my car is stock), but those look a little rough to me for being new. But I would expect new plastic parts to be shiny and swirl free. Agreed with Jim, contact the seller and request a replacement. If it comes that way again, then you can take the time to try and correct the swirls, or maybe consider a different seller. Good luck. And don't forget the pics when you're done!!!
  8. Welcome! Great to have you here. Don't be shy about asking any questions...
  9. Gotcha. You may not know, but Adam's PS is said to last at least 6 months. Agreed with maintaining with HGG.
  10. Bump, in remembrance of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
  11. Curious, where do you get "short period....3-4 months" from? Should last at least 6 months.
  12. Looks great, Allyn! That's a really cool color of red. You weren't necessarily wrong, but for future detailing sessions, recommend you take a look at this article, especially the latter part on layering. Might save you some time and product in the future, and possibly improve your shine. But still, your car looks really good.
  13. Adam's products are color coded for the most part, though some interchangeability is possible. So, the grey Paint Sealant goes with either the grey foam machine polish pads or the rectangular grey microfiber pads. The red or yellow hex grips (same foam, just different color) will work just fine, too, since neither has cutting power. Before you apply it, make sure to have a completely naked surface, clean of all polishes, waxes, etc. and apply a thin, even layer.
  14. Neither GC nor Glass Sealant or Boost will remove scratches, but they will clean and seal. Adam's sells a headlight restoration kit, https://adamspolishes.com/shop/kits/4-polishing-kits/adam-s-headlight-restoration-kit.html that could work for the scratches and any potential hazing/yellowing. To seal them, I prefer PS with HGG as maintenance. Obviously, the same applies for taillights, markers, etc. The more I think, though, I'm wondering if the Glass Sealant and/or Boost has any filler properties like the BG that may help, if only for a bit, with the slight scratches. But for long term, polishing is your best bet. Can anyone weigh in?
  15. Those are some great looking rims. But polishing them to remove old coating seems like it would be a real pain, at least without a nano. I hope @shane@detailedreflections advice to clean works out instead.
  16. I agree, they look great. I'm having trouble figuring out the color scheme...are they black on the inner portion and chrome on the outer edge?
  17. Hmm. Sometimes they print a lot number and date on the bottle, sort of like you'd see on groceries. Do you know when you bought it?
  18. ? Wonder if you both have the same (bad?) batch. What are the lot numbers and dates listed on your bottles?
