  1. Welcome to the shine, Ray! The truck looks great. If if I may ask, what’s your reluctance to foam the whole truck at once?
  2. ? You’re braver than I am. Not sure if the membership program is for me, but seems to me there could be a demand. Let’s see what happens!
  3. Just noticed you’re retired Mil. So from an Air Force guy, adding another welcome!
  4. Don’t forget coin ops can be your friend to spray off any big stuff or bugs. Should make it easier to do the WW, too.
  5. Before you go, a good base of sealant or wax will allow the road crud to come off easier during the trip. Then, I’d recommend you pack a bottle of Waterless Wash and some blue WW towels, and maybe some DS and Single or Double Soft towels. Assuming it’s not more than light dust/dirt, rain spots, fingerprints, etc., Waterless Wash is ideal (anything more and you’ll need to just wait till you get back...you can also dilute Rinsess Wash 16:1 for a Waterless Wash-like solution at a fraction of the cost). For the inevitable bugs, spray then let soak for a while, and lightly rub off what you can. DS can also help with some added shine and protection. Glass Cleaner may be worth adding to the mix, but you can get decent results with the WW in a pinch. Brilliant Glaze will add some serious, albeit short term shine with very limited protection and is easy to apply quickly by hand. You might also consider packing some MRB to clean the towels along the way should you have access to a washing machine. Those towels are going to get nasty. Get and Adam’s bag to keep it all together. Have a safe trip!
  6. Welcome, Joey, from just down I-25! The reasons you outlined, among many others, are why many of us consider this an addiction.
  7. Welcome, Collin! First big order of many to come. Consider yourself warned!
  8. Welcome! The Wheel Cleaner, Adam’s wheel brush and/or new wheel mitt, and a wheel woolie (or set) will make quick work of that brake dust. You can also consider the new Eco Wheel Cleaner instead of the blue version...good reviews so far, more gentle, and smells A LOT better! https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-deep-wheel-cleaner.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-short-wheel-brush.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-microfiber-wheel-wash-mitt.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-wheel-woolie.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-eco-wheel-cleaner-16oz.html
  9. Here’s a recommended read that also includes info on layering.
  10. As if on queue. This might be your new favorite Adam’s product! https://adamspolishes.com/shop/specials/sub-category-1/adam-s-odor-bomb-odor-bag-combo.html
  11. I’m anxious to know, too. Must be, because that’s a different label than the one from about a year ago. They’re known to tweak formulas, so wouldn’t be surprising to hear it’s new(er).
  12. Gotcha. Be sure to pick up some ID for maintenance cleanings. Great product. IMO the LIC really shouldn’t be needed all that often after you get the interior cleaned.
  13. A grey utility towel works great, so give that a shot. What are you trying to clean? Have you already gone through a pack of erasers? Note the LIC is pretty strong, so applying LC after is recommended if you haven’t been using it. Or you could also consider ID and/or just LC for a gentler but still effective cleaning process.
  14. To clarify, for what you have in order of cutting power form least to most, they'd be yellow/red (same pad, just different color), blue, then orange. Agreed with @Rich, use for intended purpose and you'll be good.
  15. You should really consider the MRB. It'll take care of all your cleaning needs and is a much better option for cleaning towels, pads, etc. Absent that, I don't know if pods are a good option. Instead, just get the liquid free and clear detergent. All works pretty well for a lower cost. But again, MRB is the preferred option of any of them.
  16. That sucks. I'm guessing either store credit for if/when it's back in stock (or one like it), or refund.
  17. Yes, it’s normal. Adam’s products are color coordinated for ease of use. So, orange pad with orange CP. What other ones did you get and/or need help with deciding on using? It should say in each product description what products each can be used with for future reference.
  18. I've never done it, but just about anything can be diluted. You'll likely lose some longevity, though. But if you want to try, unles someone else almost assuredly has and could weigh in, go for it and see what you think. But if you're having trouble with overspray, etc., like I used to, something I found works really well is to spray the TS directly into the applicator vs. onto the tire. Saves product and a lot less messy.
  19. Not wrong, but probably overkill. Basically, yes, misting it. I just spray the tire with the hose, then spray on the TRC and scrub. It may be closer to 6-10 sprays, but I do have low profile tires, 225-45-R18, so your mileage may vary...but nowhere near what you've been using, I don't think. I also use the (old, longer bristle) red Adam's tire brush. Do you have either that or the new, shorter bristle one? If not, I highly recommend it. It foams up the cleaner really well. You'll get great results and I think be a lot happier overall.
  20. Agreed, Jim. I bought this kit while using a discount code on top. It’s a steal, if you ask me.
