  1. I really like this car. I mean. REALLY like it. Beautiful job, Todd. I have family in the Charlotte area, up near Lake Norman, so next time I'm there may have to get a ride...or a drive!
  2. Welcome to the addiction, John! Agreed with everyone above...BG will be your new best friend for taking care of that haze. And for adding extra pop to the outside, too!
  3. Welcome to the addiction, Ben! Go Pack Go!!!
  4. Welcome to the addiction, Justin!
  5. A whole bottle for 2 times around the car?! For reference, I use about 6 sprays or so per tire, with a 16oz lasting me quite a few washes. You may be using too much.
  6. Thanks for helping us all with your wisdom and experience, Rich. You make this a better place. And a better face for the emoji! Or is it the same face?!
  7. Quick RW topped with BG. ? Then it rained.?
  8. Don’t forget to clay the glass, too!
  9. May as well throw my hat in the ring...TRC every wash for this guy, too.
  10. Cleaning tires with TRC can take a few spray/scrub/rinse cycles to get them black/letters white. Did you try more than once? Qucik Google search brought up several videos, too, so you could try those options.
  11. Well, at least the rain will bead really well. ?
  12. Looks awesome, Rich! Bet you're excited to put all the crappy weather behind you and get that Vette nice and shiny!
  13. Welcome, Ron! Don't recall seeing an intro on the New Member forum, so be sure to do that and tell us more about you/your ride(s). To your question, lots of discussion on this topic, but here's a couple links that may help. I own the Premium and like it, for what it's worth.
  14. No. Spray first, then add 1-2 ounces to the detergent cup depending on number of towels. Wash on warm, and if your washer has it, use an extra rinse cycle. I don't use vinegar and have always been pleased with how they turn out. Oh, and recommend you wash your HGG towels separate from all others...at least that's my practice. To dry, I just let them air dry on a laundry rack.
  15. Agreed with above, recommend PS as your base, then use HGG (my preference) and/or BW as the topper(s). All are easy to apply by hand. Of note, you can also use the grey MF pads to apply PS; I've done so without issue, especially in areas where my polisher can't easily reach. Just ensure you get a nice, even, thin layer as best you can and you're all set. To try and address some of your DA fears, know I felt the same way. But by using sound principles with quality products, the risk of causing damage is low. Plenty of others out there, but here's an oldie but goodie series from Junkman on using a DA, especially for novices. While it's on the Porter Cable, the principles are the same for other DA polishers.
  16. All I know is I asked the question in November 2016, and 3 months later, Adam released the video above. Coincidence?! So, when do Adam and I fly out to visit?
  17. , Cosmo! P.S. Seinfeld is one of the best shows ever.
  18. @shane@detailedreflections wrote an awesome article that should answer most, it not all, your questions about which polisher would be best for you.
  19. I've already made my suggestions above, so I'll try to help with your questions...but I do recommend you post any more on the respecitive forums to get widest visibility. No need to remove clay residue before polishing. Leaving it will not harm anything. Nor is there really a need to remove polish when changing between the levels. Only time you do need to remove residue is after polish, before sealant, coating, etc.
  20. First, from a fellow military guy (Air Force), welcome home! Guess you took good advantage of the tax break! Yes, there is still a miltary discount available, but you'll need to call to get it, as far as I know. There's also always a 10% forum discount, "shineon" (one word), and they offer sales a couple times a month on average. Yep, you can use the FG to apply the soap. Don't have to, though. And there are lots of other products you should consider (Paint Sealant, for example), so I suggest watching the videos on the Adams website then ask any questions you have one these forums. Now, let's see some pics of that new ride! Head over to the New Member forum and post your intro.
  21. I guess if it stays with the gallon, no need to clean. I was assuming he might switch between gallons.
  22. Welcome, @NatalieJemini! You should consider bumping up one level to make a more individual intro post...
