  1. It's all good, Kevin. I think I've posted the most mistakes on here of anyone, or at least am a leading candidate. We're all here to help and maybe share a laugh or two along the way.

Hey, Steven. What's a "moder?" That a Midwest spelling for "motor?" Or maybe "mother" with an IL accent? Help this WV native out!
  3. Welcome to the addiction, Jose! Beautiful color. Agreed with above, Glass Cleaner, Brilliant Glaze and some quality MF towels will be your best friends. BG will also look incredible on that paint! Watch this for some glass cleaning tips: And this for inside glass cleaning with BG:
  4. Welcome to the addiction, Roger! Agreed with Jen - Brilliant Glaze. Get some.
  5. I agree. But sorry, Rich. You'll need to take a number!
  6. Yep, good order. Strip Wash only before applying the sealant, not as an "every wash" thing. HGG goes on every 4-6 washes or so as maintenance for the PS. DS in between is just fine, too. Don't forget polish, which would be after clay, before sealant. Here's a good article to digest even more on the different products:
  7. Road trip! Plus, if your car is in "bad enough" shape, you might just be chosen by Adam for a fee wash/detail as a demo vehicle. Worst case, you meet Adam and the team, enjoy the show, and get to get it all shiny again when you get home with all the new goodies you picked up (at a great discount) from the show!
  8. Hate to tell you, but you were addicted from the moment you clicked "Submit Order." It has happened to us all. And there is no cure.
  9. Editing because I misunderstood your question... But to answer another of your questions, WW is for light dust, fingerprints, etc. So you can use it under those circumstances as often as you'd like. You might also consider diluting RW 16:1 to make a waterless wash like solution at a much more economical price point.
  10. What did everyone else have to eat?! That looks amazing! And Happy Bday!
  11. New timescales reserved for Adam's forums: B.R. Before Rich. We can keep A.D. After Dan.
  12. Welcome to the addiction, Dave! Beautiful car (and color).
  13. Buckeyebrad for the win! Curiousity spell over.
  14. As of today, 1140 Mountain, we sit at 15,999.......
  15. ^^^ Did Adam's relocate?! That looks like a showroom. P.S. My parents still have all of my Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars. Loved playing with them.
  16. Now that's an order! Although I do see a couple rogue/contraband buckets . I clean my towels and pads after every use. On that note... Here's a good article with video on taking care of the towels: And one for the pads: About the only product I find that stains the driveway is the UCS. You can place some paper towels or cardboard under the wheel wells to catch any drips. I've also found VRT or TS overspray can mark up the garage floor, but it comes off pretty easily with a little APC.
  17. Welcome from Colorado Springs, Dave! Be sure to post an intro in the New member thread. Nice work. You owe your daughter a dinner for the Adam's intro...although she did just create a whole new source of debt! Wax for that black would certainly create the deepest, wettest look. But my recommendation for longer lasting protection is the Paint Sealant, maintained with HGG every few washes or so. Coating would be the next step up and give you the longest protection Adam's offers (note Adam applies it to a black Porsche in the coating video). Here's a great article on the differences, and it also discusses layering: You'll want to clean your pads for sure. To find out how, read/watch this: Two more tips: 1) Pick up some Brilliant Glaze. You think that black shines now? Just wait....... 2) Make time to visit Adam's HQ. Awesome place to go, and they will take the time to show you around, answer questions, and hook you up with the products you need to take care of your ride.
  18. Welcome! Be sure to post an intro in the New Member section, too. For your question, you'll likely get as many answers as there are members! So I'll ask a few more questions to help me and the real experts give you some advice... What condition is the paint overall? Interior overall? Do you have a machine polisher? Will this be a daily or a garage queen? Have you done anything to it, e.g., protection, or are you starting from square one? Off to bed, so standing by for more info...
